Ok, so, compared to the rest of your massive body, a finger is very light.

The Goon plan seems pretty flawed to me. They intend to shutdown Jita but as soon as they gank the first freighter the gate is going to be swarming with Concord. So they get to pop someone on either side of the few gates into Jita, the station and maybe a few of the main routes before Concord and carebear vigilantes start insta-popping them as soon as they flash red. They may get 10 freighters or so before they have to reset, but hey, anyone stupid and uninformed enough to be flying a freighter to Jita while this is going on probably deserves what they get simply for not keeping up with the news. Pretty soon the only place to get a decent gank will be so far away from Jita that they won't have Jita shutdown anymore. But hey, these are goons we're talking about, none of that will matter because instead of 15 Tornado's they will just start using 30. Because they're dumb. I'm sure the lag and time dilation will stop them before anything does.

Also, as they are talking about ganking everyone and anything they feel like whenever they feel like, and also considering how undisciplined goons tend to be, it wont be long before their numbers start dwindling simply because their sec-status will drop so quickly from all the drake kills and hulk kills. They boast this massive alliance membership number but how many of those are alts, inactives, or simply don't have enough skill points to fly a gank worthy ship yet? Another variable is the fact that, the few times I've ever pew-pew'd against Goons......they seemed disorganized and kind of dumb.

Seems like a lot of trouble to go through just because your "d00d" got booted from CSM for being a douche-bag.

tl;dr:

Not to worried. Will probably be disappointed at goon turnout/effectiveness.

Alpha-ganking cares not about whether CONCORD is or is not on the grid.

They'll just have to bring a few more ships since they won't be assured of getting off a 2nd volley.

Guess only noobs press F1 with a finger from their RIGHT hand, while the left hand is closer by F1.

I don't know why, but with all the hype around the event I kind of expect to see a few hundred of Goons to show up in Ibises and spam 'You've been trolled' in local.

That would probably be one of the more lulzworthy things they've did :P
Bonus points if they got some people concordokkened while they're at it.

Players should get cheap industrials ready in the systems next to Jita, pack them with loads of different items (in case the Goons cargo scan their targets), and then keep flying in and out of Jita Pirate Either the Goons let them through (but what about "Jita Burns!"?) or they gank them (and they take a sec hit). Since the sec hit is not affected by the value of the ship blown, it could be a dilemma for the Goon leadership. If enough players do that, the goons may have to shorten their stay in Jita P

By the way who knows how many ships a player has to destroy to reach -2.5 sec status when startin from 10, 5 or 0 sec status? Based on these numbers, you can roughly predict how long the Goons can stay in Jita.
