One last questions about dessie/BC changes...

If I'm 10 days into training BC5 on the switch over, what happens? Do I get the same level of SP into BC5 for all races or just straight up BC4?

If the latter...I've heard that destroyers is going to be reworked first and then BC. I'm gathering that Destroyers happens on the 24th...is the BC switch happening at that time as well or later?

I'm brewing a character that is able to fly BC hulls and below for all races and am trying to take the greatest advantage of this switch as possible. Unfortunately, she just now put BC5 in the queue and I'm wondering if I'm just wasting time there and should go back to gunnery/missile skills.

i too, want information
this isn't an extra 10 days of training, for newer players this will add about 75 days if they want all BC skills to 5.
I for one, want to fly every t2BC one day.. and this change is a pain.

It would be unfunny if you got BC in your race and none in any other

Goons; infiltration at its best - first bob... now ccp itself. They dont realize you guys dot take this as "just a game". Bring it down guys, we're rooting for you.

If you can be bothered to read through the other threads. They kinda answered heaps of questions like these already.

I think their answer was along the lines of: That they'd give each of the four races the exact same SP that you currently have in BC. Also, they said that it's going to take awhile before they get to them. They are looking at balancing frigates and cruisers first.

    It is likely you will finish BC 5 before the changeover. They want to fix the frigate and cruiser lineup and balance all of the BCs before the change goes through.


    We might be waiting a while.

    There is no decision yet. This change is MONTHS off. Just train BC V now, you'll have it in time.

    You forgot version 2

    Where they only give you equal racial skill for BC of the races of the cruisers of lvl 3 you have passed up.
    Same for dessies youll be granted dessy skill for any race of frgiate you have trained to 3.

    If that is the case, then I'm still getting BC5 and Dessie5 for all races?

    I have every races frigate at 5.

    I have every races cruiser at 5.

    I have Destroyers 5 and Battlecruisers 5.

    Up until now I had only seen that post that I pasted earlier in the thread by CCP Ytterbium. Which stated that everything we can fly now, we will be able to fly later. In my case it's a concern over the command ships and interdictors I own of each race, which require bc5 and dessie5.

    Yes, simply browse to page 73 of the gigantic thread and your answers will all be revealed. It's so easy!

    Most annoying thing of the week: You failed to dock/jump because you are cloaked (in your Deep Space Transport).

    Nah, I got all the cruisers at 4. That's set. So is frigs.

    Youll be granted equal level of whatever how many races they decide to give you.

    Option 2 is most likely.
