Hero mode (Han Solo) proposal - something for the small tight knits and solo players?

So there are a lot of people you hear moaning about increasing the capabilities of the smaller gangs and even solo work. When people ask for this, they arent asking to be removed from the MMO as solo players understand that they will be against multiple opponents and dont actively seek 1v1's... The same goes for the small roaming gangs; a well composed and experienced group wont shy away from a battle where the numbers or even probability isnt in their favour

The idea behind this isnt to "equalize" a five man gang to a fifteen man gang, but to increase their chances of getting an equal quantity of kills for example (ie, this five man gang has the ability to take out five other ships before being busted toward nearly nothing)

-I propose a mechanic similar to the fleet mechanic, perhaps constructed in it. You can form one of these with 1+ people, and it reduces the effectiveness of logistics and command links (IMO, not by a great quantity though perhaps 20%-10%). These command bonus reductions are removed when the booster is on grid
-The fewer in the gang, the lower the reduction of the above adaptation

-The gang gets a 10% reduction in signature radius
-The gang gets a 10% bonus to agility, speed, sensor strength, and scan resolution
-A 5% addition to effective ship bonuses (so a 10% bonus at l3 turns to a 35% bonus rather than 30, and at level V it becomes a 55% bonus
-The more in the gang, the lesser the above ^ bonuses become (perhaps by 1% per member, to a minimum of 2%). I believe that this will encourage smaller gangs of up to around 5, where the bonuses then afterward start reducing to such an effect that a conventional fleet with off grid bonus's and decent logi would be better

I feel that this would not nerf larger gangs, which should still be able to beat the smaller gang, but it gives the smaller gang the ability to gain more kills, function a little more efficiently, and generally increase the fun for both sides involved...

so you want a 20 man fleet to make 20 fleets ? or 10 fleets so they get squad bonus, or is there something i dont understand here lol.

Its a proposition, understandably blatent issues might have been overlooked. Thanks..

You could do this, but then no one has command bonus's, there wont be any ability to fleet warp, etc.

Gangs might even be immune to logi when in this state? (absolute hero mode) which is probably the only way I can see to encourage fleets when you have larger numbers on your side... (gangs for no logi, fleets for logi)

Unfortunatly every idea I have ever seen to make blobs less viable is either stupid or easily exploitable. Yours is more the latter.
