I feel the need to seriouspost here, on the off chance it actually helps you somehow

I started playing EvE when I was 14. As is expected when a young kid with no friends tries to find social acceptance with internet spaceships, I made a fool out of myself to more mature corp-mates. A combination of increasing maturity and parental pressure (I skipped rather a lot of school to play internet spaceships) led to me getting professional help from a therapist for what would wind up being severe anxiety and depression. While my life is by no means perfect, I have matured and learned quite a bit from my experiences in EvE, and I feel it my duty to pass along the bits of knowledge I've gleaned from this process to you

So, with my history out there, and watching you make some of the same mistakes, here is my advice to you

Stop playing EvE. Use this time to evaluate whether or not you are happy with your life. If you are (as I suspect) socially inept and friendless, then I am willing to bet you are rather depressed and unhappy, regardless of whether or not you realize it

Recognizing your unhappiness, you need to understand that you are certifiably mentally ill, and that suicide becomes an ever more real and present risk the longer you allow this lifestyle to go on. You need to immediately seek help from a professional therapist, and commit to whatever steps he or she recommends for your recovery

FInally, you need to realize that having no friends and being socially clueless does not make you a worthless or bad human being, nor does it mean you will always be this way. Your life is an evolution of your choices, and if you choose to help yourself, you will have a better, happier life

I hope you recognize both the sincerity of my words and the personal experience that they hail from. Now please stop badposting and fix your life. Here is a picture of a dolphin to round out this effortpost.

Lol, just stop post, useless guy!
I have all the friends I need, and that's why I consider that this problem in Eve online is NOT a problem : it's a game, not the real life ; and my real life is more important than a game!
So, i'm sorry, I dont need to fix my life, nor with my boyfriend, nor with my friends, nor my family.

But I love u too ;-)

Is putting other people down part of your therapist's recommendations?

Sincerely, I was a player playing in a little corp, not reading forums, only in a little site of the galaxy. Politics, behaviour of other corps, all that was not my cup of tea, nor today. I only want to have fun and play ;-)

Goons have scammed me, as well. They took my fun-loving personality, and turned me into an uptight (unfunny) ******.

At least I still have my posting.

If anything, I'd hope this would teach someone like him to have a proper collateral on courier contracts. But that is too much to hope for.

GSF is like pepper for EVE... some of it spices up the experience, too much of it makes you sneeze.
