Not for PI. Ships only , unpackaged, nothing in the ships cargo except ammo.

Yeah ... being used to using industrials ... when I got my Orca I bought a full set of GSC's to go in it ... never used them ...


Even with my Iternon V I was doing experiments with things like Select All - Drag to Hangar - Repackage All to empty them ... but I've forgotten how well that worked reassembling them.

Just wanted to add that it's ammo and charges (mining crystals are allowed I know for sure).

I haven't tested it with all types of charges but I'm guessing anything under the ammunition & charges section can fit in a ship in the ship maintenance bay.

ammo and charges can be in the ship's cargo inside the ship maintenance bay. So you have a ship your gonna put in the ship maintenance bay, load up its cargo with ammo and charges and throw it in the ship maintenance bay.

You're forgetting the ship hangar, which you can use. An Iteron V that is setup properly can hold something like 53,000 m/3 and it only takes 275,000 m3 space, so you can fit one in the ship hangar, plus a few smaller ships to get more cargo space Big smile

Except that the ships in the ship maintenance bay can only have charges in them (ammo, scripts, nanite paste, cap boosters, etc)..

Which means none of them can carry any PI stuff.. The only possible exception to this would be the primae and I'm not logged in to look and see if it has a PI bay or just a command center bay.

Incidentally this was pointed out several times above.

Practically speaking, with cargo expander II in the low slots and tech 1 cargo rigs then with cargo bay is easily 80k.
The corporate hanger is another 40k. Added together thats that's 120k total. Note that the corporate hanger bay is unscannable so will protect you from hi-sec gate gankers (assuming that you have no value cargo in her regular cargo bay).

The ship Ore bay and Ship hanger bay cannot hold anything for Ore and ships respectively.

You can put PI stuff in the Primae's PI bay and then stick it into the maintenance bay. But this only buys you 1000m3 or so.
