Time - Needs sorting

I think EVE needs a different time zone - such as my time zone. It is annoying figuring out when I am suppose to be flying ops etc based on server time and whatever time others use.

CCP please sort this.

"Server time" is a fixed time for everyone that does not change. Work out the difference between it and your own time and all of your problems will vanish.

UTC is fine but please can I have my calandar back over my clock? clicking on a date makes much more sense in opening a calander clicking on a clock supposed to be adjusting times.

Hmm.. UTC or some random time zone.. I wonder.

I can see Eve having an option to convert or display side-by-side your local time zone. But when something spans multiple time zones, you're better off using UTC.

OP can't either add or subtract, depending on what timezone he is in.

- Look at clock.
- Look at eve time.
- Perform basic addition/subtraction.

I think all the world should just go by EVE time. It would make scheduling ops much easier. Also timezone warfare would be gone, as everyone would sleep, wake up, go to work, play EVE at the same time.

Too many of us Pacific Coast people would do ourselves in. More than usual that is (we already get a few hundred every winter due to the rain).

Dang! Do I what I did. Use your beautiful shiny iPhone and set a clock EVE time Zone and place the icon on your main screen next to your local clock. Dang!

Play in windowed mode so you can see the local time on your desktop along with EVE time in your EVE window?
