Moa, and it's counterparts. I fly a Gila occasionally and as I said before it kills me a little bit every time I look at it. I like to pretend its a thorax. Heck you can turn the Moa into a cube and I be happy with that, it be even better if you throw some lame design on it, than I can just pretend it's the all spark from transformers as I send off my drone minions to wreck havoc.

Give me the choice to fly THIS instead of Dominix, I'd be happy to play afk online.
Dominix should be able to be build for nostalgic dudes that like the old days enough to live like primordials...hu?

A ship being "ugly" also doesn't mean it needs to be the focus of a redesign at all. The Moa is a perfect example, with a design that makes many people physically ill and claim that even if it did regain a reputation for ending ships that could match its reputation for ending lunches, they still wouldn't fly one. That very property makes the hull a "good thing" to many others, however. Not every ship should be a sleek n' sexy death machine (or space-vacuum, or Universal Postage Ship): "interestingness", rather than just shallow "pleasingness", should be the ultimate goal and sometimes that includes "ugly." Otherwise we really do have "Pretty Princesses Online, IN SPAAACE edition."

The Scorpion got a redesign because it played pretty badly with their new fancy-dancy graphics, not because it was ugly-yet-popular. Similar with the Raven, at the time it was remodeled it was pretty much the worst-looking ship in terms of correctness. More sensible (and distinct) variation between base hulls and T2 derivations should be the current focus, which based on the SB's is at least somewhat true. Fixing whatever ships are left that don't actually look *correct* should be ongoing. Changing characterful designs "just because" isn't really important, potentially takes interest out of the game, and generally annoys just as many people as it is intended to appease.

All ships could use some changes, but here's my 2 cents:

Hyperion complete overhaul, enough of the giant penis.
Dominix large to complete overhaul
Some touch ups on the mega and some shader additions?

Typhoon and tempest large to complete overhaul

Do i even need to say Moa?
