You know, "short" and "tall" are pretty relative when dealing with people living twenty thousand years in the future. Humanity almost doubled its average height since the days of ancient Rome; short people in the age of EVE would probably be something like fifteen meters. It would certainly explain Einherji fighters.

EVE's character creator is great, but indeed does not allow for "less than optimal" body-type builds. However, there are some games coming out soon, such as Phantasy Star Online 2, which make this possible. I can only imagine what CCP will do to remain competitive.

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

in short - pun intended - EVEs art team is superior in assessing the limits of aesthetics.
I trust their judgement over yours to prevent my eyes from bleeding.

According to my ex sister-in-law, it's because little people are ******* terrifying.

Don't worry about posting with your main!  Post with your brain! "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

It always freaked out taking girls home to visit mother.

My young children are the same height.

It's like some weird drug scene.

Truth is though, I should be able to spin up a four foot, stubby finger little person in EVE. Can't be that hard. It's not like anyone uses the CQ.

I've been playing around with the character creator and I wanted to change the height of a character.

I want her to be short.

Maybe not world record short, but definitely in the running for a casting call as an Ewok.

And I don't think I can.

Made me think. Isn't that a bit wrong? Shouldn't there be some kind of option for people wanting to recreate their real life physical appearance in game?

I've been trying to get my mother into EVE as she is a bit of a game nut and I think the slow drone of mining lasers would be just the thing for her.

As a surprise I was going to create a character that looked like her. Now that's OK, but she's very short. Just around four feet. I think it would bean insult to make a tall character give the pride she has in getting by in a tall world as a little person.

So why are CCP discriminating against little people like this?

Dear god, you'd get someone you love involved in the mind numbing, soul crushing, evil, manipulative and life destroying EvE Online?

...

I salute you. Well played.

The absolute bare minimum of work went into porting the character creator from the Twilight team's hands to EVE.

Go and try Skyrim's character creator, you can't even alter anything on the body just the head. Eve's character creator is probably one of the best in the gaming world, certainly the best I've seen. So by your reckoning Bethesda (Skyrim) are discriminating against short, tall and overweight people.

I take it you live under the rock, cause eve boobs maker is not the best. Have you tried Aion or like? Even TERA has more option.

This world is sad, this world is really bad and we should join our forces to sue every government on the milky way !

Why do they do everything around median numbers? -c'mon !!

Clothes, tables, leathers, chairs, why a cm does a cm and an inch an inch??

Why you need stairs to get into your car and I always hit the roof of it with my head?

I'm tired of all this !!

This is a good troll post so 9.5/10 Lol

Your **** surely looks fat in those tiny dwarf hands. If you do roids, you can wear them as gloves and have 4 arms. Almost like an octopus.

Went ahead and fixed that for ya (dont want my dolls being stereotyped) those were my thoughts exactly minus the roids ofcourse dont want my balls shrinking any more.

I recall one night in a nightclub called the matrix, there I was... Mother of god there I am! Holy f**k.

Pretty sure this is a technical issue, you have to redo animation and clothing for different sized characters. Did you want incarna to take another 4 years ?
