DUST: character naming?

Since Dust players can chat with EVE players, I assume they have names just like any character in the EVE universe.

Q. When making a dust character, are all the EVE names already locked out and taken, or is there some special Dust naming convention to make them unique?

I am curious if we can use the same names from our EVE characters on our Dust characters?

I would guess we can't have the same name twice as TQ would implode and EVE would cease to exist.

Expect a lot of "ShadowXXXNarutoXXXSniper" and alike which tend to plague FPS games, so it will be easy to recognize many of the Dust players.

Well, in AC5 it actually works with a new pilot name you input and also shows up with your PSN id, but yeah, I'd image this is how it'll work (unfortunately).

I really don't think this will be the case... because...

What if, on the rare chance, someone's psn name just happened to be the same as an eve character? That person couldn't play because someone in eve already had the name "blah blah" or what ever...

I just don't see that happening. I think we'll create character names in the character creation process just like we do in eve. Our psn name = our account name I bet. This may be important later if / when we can do api stuff with our dust characters.
