PI Yield Question

Alright so I just came back to EVE from a decently long break and am still getting used to the most recent PI changes where resources move and extractors have separate extractor heads. These changes bring up some questions for me.

See relevant image related to my question: http://i.imgur.com/b9bay.jpg

Relevant skills: Planetology 4/Advanced Planetology 4, Remote Sensing 3.

I am currently staring at this planet and trying to make my extractors as efficient as possible. And yet, it would seem that moving the indicated extractor head (see above image) would result in a loss of overall amount extracted whereas looking at the heat map, one would think that the more extractor heads I have in the white area, the better off I would be.

To be specific: Without moving the extractor head, that individual head has a Raw Output Quality Index of 49.51. In the white area, the Quality Index changes to 55.94. One would interpret this as a good change. The problem arises in that the Total Output (this is an 8 hour cycle currently) goes from 159,739 at the 49.51 quality location to 139,880 at the 55.94 quality location. Is there a reason that I am losing overall output when moving extractor heads to better quality locations?

The only reason I can come up with on my own is that current heatmaps are only truly reliable over shorter extraction cycles such that apparent quality would only really be meaningful to someone running a 1-3 hour cycle. But this seems far too unreasonable a behavior as it would mean that locating truly efficient extraction locations would be nearly impossible.

Thank you in advance for any and all help!

Edit: Added remote sensing skill level. When I took the above screenshot, I was 4 jumps away from the system my planets were in. I realized this may have something to do with the discrepancy, so I jumped back to the planet's system and checked everything again. Still having the same problem.

so basic rule : invite more alts, free alts like 21 days +30 that you will provide now you have 3 more free alts for 51 days. ok you only need amar frigat lvl 3 (7 h ) +indi lvl 1, then you need only 5 planets with lvl 4 so that is like 12 days each but at first start with 1 day (lvl 3 planets (4planets) and lvl 3 upg) so now in just 3 days u have 12 new planets for combining. Now about the question:
from my experience is you spread them as far as posible on the whit stuff, do not put them all clumped up cos it will drain your resources all of them and you need to move them again and it gets booring. so what u need from the picture is to spread them like you put a circle in the hot spot, move your filter to extreme on the right, and now your whit spot will diminish or vanish all interly. so 1 there, then next 5 circles on a ring near that midle circle but i keep a 1 circle minimum btw them. so circle in the midle, 1 circle distance empty then a new circle, if u do this for like 3 weeks u only need to put like cicle of 2 days. and min yeld i got is 30 000 per h. Minim.
Ok hope it helped if not mail me and we talk ingame. also if you want to join a corp that has its own system and Poco are up in 00 (0% tax for corp.) later.
