Did your URL include an anchor? I.e. a "#" character? I've had issues in the past, trying to post such URLs. Otherwise just try to use the followign syntax: [url=http:/somewhere/to/go][/url].

% and # seem to be throwing some errors. It's a known issue and has been reported to the web team for them to fix as soon as possible. If you can avoid using them in URLs and spelling out percent instead of % were possible it will prevent this from happening.

Using a URL shortener such as tinyurl.com or bit.ly should work as well.

Actually I'm having an issue reproducing the error that comes with the # symbol. If someone can give me brief description on how to reproduce it I'll make sure it gets brought to the attention of the web development team. Big smile

Seems like the part with "#" in the URL has been fixed, now able to put the updated twitter URL back into my signature.

To replicate the new issue, just try to post any URL with something encoded using a %, e.g. http://example.com/some%20space/ - but within the target of an [url] tag:

[url=http://example.com/some%20space/]hello[/url]

Should do the trick.

EDIT:
Seems like "#" is still forbidden in profile URLs. :(

Yep still having trouble with it and the problem is the url is from a post on this forum and has the # signs so not sure how that works. Little annoying to not be able to refer to another post on this forum because the forum that does not allow # puts it everywhere in its links.
