Is T1 ammo going to stop dropping from rats too? It has a BPO and BPC so I guess according to patch notes it will have to be manufactured from now on instead of salvaged from rats. T1 Ammo is going to rise in price :) a lot. Except crystals they never expire.

For sure. Have you seen the market buy orders for ammo? Who do you think quick sells it? Mission runners unless it's the ammo they fire.

How much of the market is 2nd hand rat ammo I'm not sure but it will still increasce the price by that % if it stops dropping.

That's not how prices work, but good effort.

My assumption would be to take the CCP statement that "if it has a BPO, it will not drop" at face value. But I'd be surprised if more then 5-10% of the T1 ammo market comes from rat drops. Especially since it's only 100 units here, 100 units there.

With T1 drones out of the loot table, there are going to be alot of empty wrecks in noob space.

As for ammo, 90% of the stuff that drops for me was the 60% range crap. It won't be missed.

Indeed. Besides, if there was a sudden rise in ammo prices, manufacturing would fill the void considering that making ammunition is one of the cheaper things to produce in this game.

If rats were to stop dropping ammo, I honestly don't think it will make any real impact. If ammo prices are going to rise, it would be because of the rising prices of minerals in general more than anything else.

All this talk about ammo and no talk about something that I bet nobody is manufacturing from blueprints at the moment.

As a Fountain resident, the rats here drop cap boosters all the time and those things take up an insane amount of cargo space for their value. Nobody manufactures them here and I'll bet in hisec as well. With the t1 ammo drops stopping, I'll bet the cap boosters will stop as well. It might not be that big of a deal, but they are used in certain pvp situations so the demand will exist, but supply will be a pain.

Get cap boosters like all the other 0.0 players. make them or jump them in.

seriously. fountain isnt even deep into 0.0 and your whining about some logistics jumping stuff in.
