Drone boats in C3's

Hello folks.

I have been a long time WHer in numerous classes from C2 to C5. I currently reside in a C5 but will always jump at the opportunity too run some C3s whenever the opportunity presents itself. However I have ran into the problem nowadays.more than in the past that sleepers chew through light & medium drones. I have the same issue to a lesser extent with a carrier clearing vital gas sites. I However I hear of people efficiently using drone boats such as RR domis and gilas, my question is; how are they able too do this without losing flights of med/light drones(and if they dont use med/lights how they handle frigs). Any input would be aprieciated.

Sleepers hate RR and the cap transfer so much, that they leave drones alone.

Once you have the chain running between the Domis, drones never get targeted by C3 sleepers.
