Tritanium, the sky is the limit!

Trit is already over 6.15 a unit, about to hit 6.5 and with less than 10b units available (half of daily volume) prepare for a massive spike before a crash once miners pick up on it!

The question is, where will it balance out next! /speculate.

ps, thanks for making me richer.

I like your attempt to cause a Trit panic. It means I don't have to sink so low to do it myself.

The only reason why all minerals are spiking is that nobody is selling before Inferno and Hulkageddon. The drone regions nerf will hit the hisec miners hard. The drone regions supply relatively high quantities of high end minerals. Without those higher end minerals demand for lower end minerals will have to go down as well. There simply won't be enough high end minerals to make the same stuff in the same amounts as before. Tritanium will crash. Hard.

We see a risky development here.
CCP needs to help us to keep the 99% down on its knees and start selling tritanium for 2 ISK per unit.
If this continues the new players will make ISK mining and buy a part of the stuff that is supposed to belong to the spacerich elite.

If I wasn't already obscenely rich from the Goon Oxytope "swindle", Tech, zydrine, nocx and isogen... I might take offense ! Shocked

As it is, I totally agree.. time to bring out the water cannon and get those unwashed masses under control... back to Minmatar where they belong, dammit ! Blink

I thought I struck it lucky at 4.1-3 but damn. I can't see this trend going much further.

Err, looking at the numbers it's clearly going to go further. What the cap is, that's more difficult to determine. Once the upcoming changes are actually implemented, things will no doubt stabilize. Until that though, I wouldn't be at all surprised w/seeing Trit prices at 7+ ISK.

Exciting time to be in the business.

If you can undock in a Covetor/Hulk, in any system in EVE and mine Veldspar and make more ISK/hr then L4 mission running - I'll be very surprised if that lasts more then a week. Let's assume the average mission runner makes 40M/hr (a bit on the high side, it's more like 25-35 depending on how shiny your ship is).

Solo hulk can mine about 95k m3/hr (with docking).

40M / 95k = 421 ISK/m3 for the ores. That would mean a tritanium price of around 14 ISK/u.

I don't see that happening given that there were people willing to mine when Veld was only 90 ISK/m3.

Personally, I think hi-sec ores above 200-250 ISK/m3 will be difficult to sustain as it gets to be too lucrative. That means Tritanium at somewhere around 6.67, give or take 25%. But it may not settle down until mid-late July and jump as high as 8-10 ISK/m3 in the meantime.

Trit prices will stabilize somewhere around 7-7.50 once drone alloys are changed. CCP's anti-botting campaign after fanfest might cause stabilization to occur between 7.25-7.75. In any case though, expect Tritanium to reach 8-10 for a few months, as it will take time for the market to react to speculation and the lack of drone alloys. For reference, approximately 40% of tritanium is coming from the Drone Regions so this change will have an incredible impact on the market.

I cant see trit sustaining at above 8 for very long. That's a significant inflation to manufacturing costs. Also as was stated, people will flock back to mining, and push trit back to at most 7.xx.

My take on the matter anyway.

More folks are going to mine due to rising prices of mins, that is going to happen indeed.
The thing is, minerals aren't infinite in high sec. The belts just disappear in the evening in many areas and noone is going to mine in outlying systems due to hauing issues.
This well is going to be used much more, true, yet it will still dry out.

It's not an issue. When the graph will say it's time to sell, I'll sell and buy something else Smile
