Can anyone give me/direct me to some good PvP videos or guides? Ive already seen all the EveisEasy videos, and read most of the rifter guides. Especially guides the give tips on minmatar ships like the hurricane or rupture?

Did you also check youtube vids? Quite a lot ruppie and cane fights in there, just use search feature. And My Eve section of these forums probably has big chunk of pvp vids from Minnie pilots.

What kind of info do you seek? Do you only want to see how ppl fight in those ships or you want to know good ways of fitting them or sth else?

I saw a couple of your fitting questions for ruppie and cane so if that's what you are after I would go to Failheap Challenge pvp fits section, waaaay better than battleclinic in my opinion.

Both ruppie and cane are in line of minnie's "military doctrine": offense is best defense. So lot of punch and just enough tank to survive if other guy swings back. And ECM drones as a fistful of sand in his eyes to make him blind and vulnerable for kick in da balls. And agility to catch him faster and not let him escape.

Bringing Solo Back - Is a really good podcast for solo small gang pvp and they discuss ruppies and canes alot. They also have a youtube channel with tons of fight commentaries where they do a really good job breaking down the dicisions that they make throughout the course of the fight. Thread for the pod cast is:

I beleive they have a link in their signature on the first post to the youtube channel for the videos.

I have a question in regards to this.

How do you pick a fight with someone, while almost ensuring 1v1 PvP?
Cause i ALWAYS lose because of getting outnumbered and have actually NEVER encountered any pirate that had the balls to go at it on his own.

Edit: except when i'm in a mining barge or hauler or anything non battle suited.

As a wise man once said, "If you get a 1v1 in EVE, that means there's 2 people in that fight that are doing it wrong."

Cloaky ships are about the only way you can pick-and-choose your fights with a high degree of reliability. But there is no way to ensure they are 1v1. This isn't a dueling game, if you attack someone and don't want friends, then you need to also be able to kill the enemy before friends can be called in by teamspeak.

Best chance, if there is one person in local, and he's not at a gate, and no one is on the other side of the gates. You might have 1 min to kill.

A 1v1 specialist doesn't specialize in ensuring 1v1 fight. Instead specialize in controlling the encounter and being able and ready to flee when reinforcement comes. Fighting is no reason to stop hitting the scan button. But if you attack one dude, and suddenly 5 more appear in local, it's probably a good idea to flee.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

By using your brain. If you get blobbed it's no one elses fault but your own. Kill quickly, force ships through gates, use aggro timers, pick fights 80 AU from any gate etc etc
