The irony is I'd welcome the attempt at "RL harrassment" face to face at the next fanfest (for example) and I'd love a goon in the UK to host something like this. But of course the thing about internet cyber-bullies like Goonswarm is you guys really are immense cowards truth be told and the first time anybody even looked in your direction at a public event you'd be running beneath the skirts of the organizers and begging for protection from the consequences of your actions. (This from personal experience).

But its common goon practice to throw up a smokescreen of inky lies to defend their own so lets give you a chance to have your say. How pray tell am I helping/endorsing RL harrassment of "prominent members of" CFC? Conneticut Fried Chicken?



Well its a common myth told by the Goon leadership to its pawns. But CSM1 was pretty successful for CCP. Extremely good press coverage, media relations. It worked well for me in the workplace too ironically - people were pretty impressed at my run as the first ever democratically elected chair of a massively multiplayer online game.

At least two members of CSM1 would go on to work for CCP. One went on to become a leading figure on the followup CSM2. We oversaw the successful implementation of PLEX into Eve online which has helped hundreds of thousands of players from poorer countries in the world to play the game despite the economic problems of their host countries.

It is a matter of public record the various gameplay improvements we advocated for Eve Online and I'm quite proud of the issues I advocated personally (such of which will probably surprise you when you tear your eyes from goonswarm propaganda and go look up the facts as they happened

And when my term was over I gave the final address at fanfest without bringing myself, the csm, or CCP and the wider player base into disrepute. I understand then as I do now that the role of CSM chair is to represent the game as an ambassador to the wider gaming media and show off the things that make Eve great (rather than wallowing in petty cyber bullying and mean spirited drunken nonsense.).

In many ways I think it is the degree to which the facts of CSM1's success are self-evident and undeniable that have made goon high command so rapidly addicted to smear attempts and making up nonsense about it ever since. It really stings that the CSM chaired by Jade Constantine, roleplayer and leader of a small alliance was a roaring success, while the CSM chaired by goonswarm's favourite son was a disappointing fiasco that ended in scandal and universal condemnation by anyone who is not a goon.

All the goonswarm can take away from CSM6 really are humiliating headlines like these.

Take off the goonswarm blinkers and breath the fresh clean air outside the SA basement for a moment and see how the rest of the players and gaming media see you.

You are roleplaying insects. I've heard you refer to yourselves in many many promotional goonswarm videos as bees and I've seen an attractive youtube presentation with little fabric animated bees dancing round a stargate that was highly rated by your general membership. At fanfest I met several goons who were even roleplaying bees in real life - they had little plush bee children with them and one chap was dressed up in a giant bee costume waving a goonswarm flag (with a giant bee on it). Even while I served on the CSM I often heard your illustrious leader (DARIUS) conversing with his second in command in a buzzing dialect and making rapid little tapping noises in channel pretending his fingers were mandibles. (Darius also looks a little like a Bee).

Further to in-game ideology - you are part of a swarm. You all serve the brain-goons. You present yourselves on this (largely) in character forum as idiot-level intelligence creatures without the ability to speak, argue or debate coherently and I acknowledge that must take quite a lot of dedication to the roleplay ethos of your organization. Look at the pure number of goonswarm threads with absolutely zero content produced in the last 24 hours! It takes champion roleplayers to so perfectly embody the mindset of tiny hive creatures toiling without conscious thought in banal labour of submission to the swarm.

So I salute your characterisation as vile bugs and horrible swarm things! Many in Eve asked for alien subspecies and you have finally provided the dramatic background for this.

i'm not threatened in the slightest you big baby, i just don't care to reply to another jade constantine "goons are bad" post and would like to examine the reasons underneath your unhealthy obsession :)

Hroya the advantage i have here is that i can post anything i want about jade constantine and he can't help himself but to reply, while ignoring whatever posts i please (walls of text about bees fall firmly into this category)

And the thing you miss little goon alt is that I'm happy to reply to you in such a way as to illustrate your nature as a cowardly little internet troll without credibility or reputation. The fact you've now fallen back to the "lol I wus trolling U" response as attempted damage control for being publicly broken on the wheel of discussion simply demonstrates how pitiful you truly are.

Perhaps next time you should put your virtual fingers in your ears and just type. "la la la I'm not listening la".

The goons ran a campaign of forum signatures to mock an eve player who died in a traffic acident and you expected people not to get angry? You infiltrated an enemy alliance, took RL pictures of players and then mocked a woman over her RL looks mercilessly until she quit the game?

Is that supposed to be some kind of defense of goonswarm tactics - where did you learn law - downing Jaegerbombs at the Mittani practise.

I guess its lucky my RL pictures are more attractive than 99.9% of goons otherwise I'd have had you guys go "lady scarlet" on my appearance too. Here's a protip from RL. Games are for playing. Not living.
