I talked to a few poker pilots, still nothing. Whats the deal here ?

I could be wrong of course, but I imagine it'll take a few weeks more... It took a while last time to get our T-shirts in-game because, as far as I remember, they had to change/update the programming of their redemption system - to be able to handle it all.

I imagine that giving out medals to people outside of their current corp-structure programming also requires a software re-write. Which is something people have wanted for a while. The most recent example that springs to mind was Chribba wanting to award medals to the people who tried to save his Nullsec outpost.

Perhaps the development of such a system will allow them to give you your's.

I'm fine with things taking a while to sort out, it would just be nice to have an official indication that it's not just going to be brushed off and forgotten is all.

Ok so this did come as a complete surprise to me. As the person organizing the tournament I did not, at any stage, make provisions for in game medals when designing the poker tournament for Fanfest 2012.

'How can that be?', I hear you say, 'It was there in black and white!'

Yes it was and it was added completely in error. The text that I supplied to CCP Tyr was copy and pasted, in error, for our plans for the next tournament at Fanfest 2013. We have subsequently amended the misleading text.

In short, I completely messed this up and posted something incorrect in error. I am very sorry if anyone was misled as a result.

There is simply no bandwidth for us to add an in game medal for Fanfest 2012 at this stage. All art assets need to be submitted to the art teams several months in advance so they can be prioritized in their backlogs.

Once again, this was completely my fault and I am sorry for all those who have been affected.

Finally, the forum rules still remain in place. Quoting petition replies is still a big no no and these have been removed along with all quoted replies.
