Ship not docking when alt tabbing/minimizing client

This problem occurs no matter how many clients I have running. I click on the dock button and then either Alt Tab out to my other client or just simply minimize the current client. When I bring my client back up my ship is sitting outside the station not docked. I dock in null and low sec and the risk is ridiculous.

Would you be so kind to take the time to report a bug about the issue so the developers can investigate the issue in more detail and release a fix for it as quickly as possible. The more reports they receive about the issue from different aspects and hardware profiles the better.
