Good job, I loved the combat scenes (but laser tempest/rifter? why god why), imo just needs more HDR haha :p


If you're after some input, I might suggest higher res textures throughout before you take it to CCP ^^

Technically outstanding, cinematically boring.

Shame. Whomever put it together needed a director, or someone that understands storyboarding, or story.

All you have is a visually impressive piece, with lots of EVE Models and textures flying about, with a camera that moves as if it is being controlled by a drunk film-school reject, with the wrong lens.

None of the models matched anything, had no clear sides of conflict to relate to, and didn't match the audio in the slightest.

Damn shame, because there is some seriously impressive technical skills being wasted here.

Not attacking, baiting, trolling or whatever - just telling it like it is.

Impressive work man! this is the best production i've seen about eve so far...the cartoonesque color work is just perfect and we can see a lot of innovative thinking.

I hope your video will be seen by CCP and your hopes beeing employed by them granted.

I did not make the video, it's some German Eve fan and doing a great job with off the shelf tools and renders.

He has a bunch of other goofy videos on youtube. Just follow the link to his channel. He is obviously an Eve fan and doing it alone with models ripped from the game. My guess is he is probably using 3DS max for the fluid sims. Very impressive work.

CCP should really steal his ideas!

+1 ... I also dislike the music. It sounds just like some 08/15 sound samples put together.
Much time and effort for this to be done for sure, but much to improve also.

This was easily the best non pvp video I have seen in a VERY long time. I didnt want it to end, because tbh this is what I want EVE to be!

It was fantastic! Please watch this and dream of the EVE the way it should be!
