There's only about 10 of you guys... your efforts to conceal that are pretty pointless, you all sing the same refrain.

I am new at eve, but even I can tell that you are a poor representation of the goons. Your posts are lacking any substantial content, are simple ignorant, and showcase your man love for The Mittani. It's none of my business if you want to defend someone you love, so power to you. Why though is it so important to you that others read your post, and why do you try to show yourself as being well informed, when you clearly are not?

Anyway... good luck with your Mittani troll powered love. Have fun with that.

What I love is the innovative nature of this game. There are thousands of us that feel the same. This feeling is in no way limited to just goons, as you seem to have deluded yourselves. Your smear campaign, if allowed to progress unchecked, will destroy that game.

I don't love anyone on the internet, tbh... and just because I wear this tag doesn't mean that I particularly like the actions of the Mittani. However, I don't think that anyone who isn't a part of something larger than themselves in this game can comprehend, or even criticize such a thing without being a part of something emergent in this amazing digital world. There are two kinds of people in this world, those that participate in something larger than themselves, and those who stand around the periphery, slinging their arrows and knives at anything that has the gall to emerge from the crowd.

The most vocal of you seem to fail to recognize one thing. Bad press for Eve is bad for this game. You could move on past it, or keep with your snarky comments, as you hide behind some NPC corp tag, or even get kicked out of your alliances for being an embarrassment.

I'd like to see this game get bigger, and the cutthroat nature of this game is what makes it unique, and I daresay makes it great.

I'm sorry you don't have the vision to see that, but I won't be sorry to see you quit when you fail to catch on.

So if somebody on the internet says bad things about mittani or (smears) him, that is somehow going to cause the very foundation of the eve community to crumble and shatter?

You mean when you ask someone to try it, and all they can remember is this one event, that didn't hurt anyone, didn't cause any lasting problems, and in no way compares to the awesomeness that this game is?

They're not going to remember the person. They are going to forever associate this game with something that grade school kids do to one another that results in REAL ACTUAL DEATH.

This was hardly the case here, but that does not matter. Not in this age of instant-on, 24/7 bad news, all the channels, all the time. CCP wants more subscribers, end of story. They are more worried about what those potential players think than what we think.

So yes, YOU are the problem. The question is, are you intelligent enough to see it?

The reason that CCP actioned the Mittani is that big black eye for Eve. The continued hate and discontent that is being spouted will have no further effect on us as an alliance, as anyone should be able to see with our activity levels. So you claim to be anti-Mittani, but every one of these type of posts results in one thing. That black eye gets bigger, and bigger, and before you know it, you won't even be able to swear in local.

Is that what you want?

Do you really think this path is going to make the game better?
