Angel Extravaganza LVL 4 bonus room dropping faction loot?

Played AE4 two times yesterday and the battlestation didn't drop faction loot. I couldn't find any newish posts about it and there was some mention of faction loot being removed from that mission. Any thoughts?

I don't know if the chance for faction loot has been changed or not, but lets try to think about this logically.

You think rare items (faction loot) should drop every time you do the mission?

How would the items continue to be rare (and thus valuable) if this were the case?

OTOH, L3 AEs still have faction loot show up now and then in the Stash container in the bonus room. I forget the modules, but over the last 20 times I've looked, I've found a couple of 1-5M Isk items and one 100M isk item.

confirming CCP removed all loot above meta 4 for lvl 4s as well as anything even remotely valuable loot wise

Proof or your just trolling.

Over the entire 5 years, even when there was faction loot in AE3/4, I have never received any from AE3/4.

I've only received faction loot from two missions:

Serp Blockade 3 a Crusier sized commander spawned, dropped tag and ammo :(
Some level 3 storyline with rare "named" Blood rat, she dropped DB Power Diag x 2, DB Thermic Energized Plating, ammo ( both blood types ), tags ( Named rat unique tag aswell as DB tag ), Blood EM plating.

These where both over 2 years ago, way before the mission faction loot nerf, which was before the meta 4 and t1 nerfs.

If you want faction, move to 0.0 and rat and run sites.

In 3 yrs of doing lvl4 missions, I got one lame faction ammo drop from Worlds Collide Overseer.
I'd say your chances of getting anything is pretty slim.

AFAIK the only lvl4 missions with a remote chance of dropping faction loot is Worlds collide and to a lesser extent, Blockade. I have had faction loot in both recently.

AE has not dropped faction loot for years to my knowledge.

Yup. Still there. I haven't received anything worthwhile from it for a fair amount of time though.

Curious enough I got 2 WC back to back and in the Serp side I got a overseer in both of them. First one dropped a shadow armor mod and the next one dropped 2 shadow armor mods. Even more curious in the 2nd one the Gurista side had a overseer but when I shot it no wreck appeared. So to the earlier poster who said lvl 4's don't drop anything....they do. To be fair tho, these were the first drops in 3 years that I got.

For WC this is still true, you may not always get an overseer and it may not always drop something nice. a good way to tell is its bounty. if it is below 2 million isk there is very little chance that it will drop anything faction (ammo, tag) above that its all slightly randomized, ive heard of 10 mil+ bounties on an overseer but never seen anything past 5 mil. and that one dropped a plating for me.

i had a sansha overseer in WC dropping a hg slave + an explosive hardener.
So yeah, WC drops sometimes.

I had a Blood Overseer or something like that in the Blockade recently. It was packed full of goodies. Can't remember what was in it but I recall it all made me around 500 mill.

That's the first time I'd had a faction loot drop in a mission for a good 3 years. Before they nerfed Guristas Extravaganza I had a few Guristas Invuls drop from the bonus room. Used to luv that mission Big smile

The WC Overseer drops a Blueprint very very rarely for the umm.... ugh it just escaped me the Malrestrom type faction ship. Or it use to but needs to be 5+ million bounty I think. Otherwise most of the ones I have got in the past are 900K to 1.3 million which drop nothing or nothing worth looting. I have got the armor drops but that was 2 years ago never got the BPC but knew someone who did if it still drops.

Confirming serpentis overlord dropped faction mag plating and 4 mil bounty on wc this week.

I have picked up a LG slave implant and a number of nice armour modules from Worlds Collide level 4. It seems the higher-value (3-5M) overseers like leaving their valuables behind. Then again, I've run WC many times with overseers worth less than 1M ISK.

"Silence the Informant" L3 version usually drops a science skill book in the last room.

There are also faction spawn chances in most blockades, I've picked up some interesting loot from Blockade against Angel Cartel, Blood Raiders and Serpentis.

The percentage drop rate is very, very small. One Slave implant for several hundred Worlds Collide missions? Not the kind of thing to bet the farm on.
