Casual PVP = The FC understands you cant make it to the op and promises to make it up for you.
Hardcore PVP = The FC shoots you on sight for being a puppy.

I thought the purpose of RvB was to have fun getting lots of fights in cheap ships.

I don't think they've ever been considered training corps, though members are bound to learn something in the process.

RvB's low entry bar is kinder to rookies who just want to blow stuff up now, rather than be told they have to skill for a HAC before they are allowed in a fleet (a friend recently hit that wall after joining a sov holder).

If they are having fun, and they seem to be, who cares whether they are "elite" or not.

You need spys to catch a bunch of noobs in t1 cruisers flying around aimlessly? RvB is a group of noobs, in badly fit ships, flying around with bad FC's. When those noobs go to join a real PVP corp they will be rejected, because no, we don't want your PVP fit Augoror (teh ****?). Really the only good thing RvB is good for is for giving me cheap targets who can be guaranteed upon to fly badly, fit badly, and die in a blazing fire.


Nice way to jump on conclusions thanks to your own made up premises (in this case, that RvB is trying to teach noobs how to pvp)

A system where ELITE PVP'rs can fight each other all day every day and make us videos. Every night I sit in my attic, turn off the lights, turn on the TV and pop in some garmonation dvd's. I need MORE, and RvB needs to change to accommodate ME.

i was at war with corp where RvB hangs out shooting each other.

Sitting outside station, they gave me alot of action to look at.

From what I have seen the guys are learning, and they are having fun doing it. In the end that is the most important part. So what if the are not fitting ships properly. You learn something new in this game everyday.

Some of them even greeted me. i would help out any of those guys if they ask, since they are playing the game to have fun.
