Whether you're for or against it, there's one truth here: people will show up to play a game together. I know this may seem altruistic, and you trolls will jump all over me for it, but think about this:

1. If you're 'Pro-Goon', you should be encouraging this action (as some already are), because it'll present you with more targets, and maybe even a little sport.

2. If you're 'Anti-Goon', you should be supporting this, as well. Here's your chance to get in a few jabs at a very low cost.

3. If you're an industrialist, you have a chance to participate in pvp--whether directly by flying in the local fight or indirectly by supplying ships and armaments for those that are.

4. If you're a carebear that may be interested in pvp, well...here you go. Hop in a cheap frig, outfit it with some basic tackle modules, and throw yourself at the invaders.


Seriously, the huge fleet battles of yore are rare nowadays. We aren't seeing the battle reports like we used to. This is NEWS, ENTERTAINMENT, FUN, however you want to refer to it. At the end of the day, if Pinky's 'Save Jita' initiative gets a few dozen/hundred carebears to hop into pvp and 'put up a fight', it'll speak VOLUMES MORE about the EVE community than either the 'Jita Burns' or recent Mittens drama...simply because more than one group is ACTIVELY participating in the event.

Nope, it's good to be excited about spaceships.

If you want to blow things up, loot things or feed people killmails, it's all good.

As I see it: the big picture...is that all of this has gotten people fired up and we actually have some content in hisec. I'm interested, but sorry I can't fly anything with guns....missiles is where it's at!!! (still wish the Naga would have been a torp or cruise boat...as it is; meh). Who cares if goons take credit after failing or not?

I'd like to try and get killed in the save Jita campaign, I'm pretty good at that you know. Hopefully CCP won't completely nerf hisec before then and make it an even 'better place' than it is now, because then there would be no need to save Jita.

Plus, OP is cute.

Please bring small ships with target painters our less experenced members want to blow up stuff too. Twisted You might want to run the total numbers again for the cfc. Its big not all the CFC voted for CSM. Think 12k min *3 ships(each person willing to personal fund min) = 36,000. So total ship loss is 1,000 ganked ships at min that with each one being a frighter worth 1,200,000,000 isk for the hull. So the total loss for the indys is going to be a min 1,200,000,000,000 isk just in hulls. Ya jita going to burn red in loss mail if anything.
