Do you use the Constellation channel?

What do you use it for?

What was CCP's original intent behind this channel?

Do you have any suggested best uses for this channel?

My suggestion for the constellation channel:
Remove Local in 0.0 and replace it with a Constellation wide Local.

when you own a constellation and want to get information from various systems.

Remove all local and make it only constellation. And keep constellation in delayed mode. That is what I think they should do with constellation. Jita should stay it's own constellation though and Jita should be delayed so you don't have to scroll through thousands of names to block the spammers.

You can just right click there name next to the scam they spammed and block them from there you know? Saves the searching method you mentioned and makes Jita blissfully quiet.

Or CCP should just cut the last highway-gates so Jita becomes less of a superhub in the first place.

Cut whatever gates you like, there will always be some form of jita. People want a one stop shop, which isn't just for ships and modules. Where else will I get grab sensor clusters, reacted t2 commodities, and other manufacturing supplies? It's not like these are up for sale in most markets.

So cut the gates, all it will do is make some other system the next jita.
