A 10 billion isk navy- domi might tank even the hardest lv 4.
But, who on earth would spend 10 bil on a domi, lol.

70 million, 1300 DPS tank against Angels, (30 minutes, so basically cap-stable) AE4 bonus room puts out around 1050 dps and is one of the highest dps L4 rooms, so yeah you can be webbed and painted to hell and back and you can still take a **** halfway through =P

Going to need to with the amount of time it would take to clear the bonus room with that crap. Not even one BCU fit.

Yeah obviously, I would never run something like this, I was merely implying that 10billion on a domi just to tank a room is a ridiculous amount, if you really wanted to you can do it in a Draek. I would never do something like this, it's straight up ******** as you want as much deeps and as little tank.

I say Kronos for Caldari space. 917 damage , and with 158 drones damage it does more then you need :)

Assault frigs can do enough damage to run 4s?
Also whats the general concensus on Proteus?

Nothing better to automate isk making.

Warp in. Sit still. Let missiles / torps do their job and salvage while you go.

Disagree.

Big clunky ship, slow as fuzz, and getting jammed in caldari space with that thing happens way too often to my tastes.

Flew it, pimped it, disliked it, sold it. Timespan of one week.

Yeah well you could outfit a tengu for less than a billion and get enough tank because the speed tank would just make the battleship dps lulzy, but the dps will never remain that high for long because you're normally killing stuff, tanking whole rooms is just not the way its meant to be.

I won't say much for the proteus except that it's the best of the T3s for drones. Take from that what you will.

Assault ships, however, definitely do do enough damage to handle L4s. I was able to solo L4s in a drake pulling barely 250 DPS and the ishkur can, with nearly but not quite maximum skills, push 350 or so DPS and the Enyo can push 400. Other assault ships will very and those are with setups that pretty much require that you shield tank the ships, but it's do'able from a DPS perspective.

On the flip side the Nemesis, for example, can lay down 400 DPS (at maximum skills, no relevant implants) at around 110-120km with Inferno Javelin torpedoes and T2 BCSes. Not what one would consider the ideal setup either, but potentially fun if you can keep at that range.

Of course at this point you're probably doing this for fun and mission time isn't a big factor. In that case I'd probably just use several T2 ships. I'd use the stealth bomber to take out the (battle) cruisers and any short-range (read that as machariel) battleships, and until NPC destroyers get buffed them as well, probably use something like an interceptor to take out frigates and spider drones if I'm feeling suicidal or an assault ship if I'm not, and then use an assault ship or the stealth bomber for the remaining battleships.

Of course truth be told if I were doing this stuff for fun I'd just use a deimos or curse. Blink

forget a vindy. Looks fantastic to an ETF warrior but you have to be very close to get that DPS on the target.

You don't fit Blasters.

Rail Vindis work, if I didn't salvage everything and thus fly a Rail Kronos I'd be flying one.

Yeah, rail vindi is awesome. Far outperforms the tengu, unless you're blitzing.
