You cannot convert game time that has already been applied to your account.

You have to choose PLEX as your buddy invite reward instead of gametime. I believe the option appears on the buddy invite page.

I'd say unlikely, but impossible to know without asking them. Contact customer support or petition it?

With your account being new, the PLEX option on the buddy invite won't be available, you simply get 30 days game time which is added to your subscription and cannot be turned into PLEX. I'm not sure on the age limit of an account before the option is given but you may see it the next time you send a buddy invite.

This is the /only/ place to buy PLEX, out of game. Anywhere is 'illegal' RMT. Go look at the recent Dev Blog by CCP Screegs if you don't know what that will do to you.

And go to Jita before you 'redeem' the plex into the game. You can sell directly to a buy order for around 480-490 million. Do /not/ fly with a plex in your ship. That's asking to be blown up.

Most likely because you are a newer player you only had 1 option in the buddy invite program, namely 30 day gametime.

This reward adds 30 days to your account and is in no way convertable to a PLEX.

After some time (CCP didn't state how long your account has to be active or so) a 2nd option will appear, namely a PLEX.

If you choose the PLEX eventually you get a PLEX which you can use for another 30 days or you can sell it.

On the point of selling, best way to see how much you should get for the PLEX is to just look at the market. At this moment PLEX prices shift around the 500mil mark, when I started playing they were around 350mil each. So prices of PLEX like anything else in EVE are shifting like it would in a player runned economy.
