Is it possible to set up 2 different overview windows?? not tabs.. but actual windows with the ability to have 5 tabs each?

I like the idea.
On the other hand: If 5 tabs and all the overview settings you can load into them arent enough, having 2 overviews probably isn't going to save you.

But you could let them display two differend groups.
OV 1: All the 500'000 enemy ships on your field
OV2: the sun + some other celestials to warp out
(just an example)

Or:
OV1: BS and BCs
OV2: Support (Logis + Recons + HICs/Dics)

Saving the entirety of one's overview to server would be helpful when installing new clients from scratch on a new computer/OS re-install.

or....you can export your overview settings. You will then find it in documents/eve/overview (if you use windows) and back-up that file to a flashdrive or whatever.

Hrm, I'm space challenged so this wouldn't help me, but I still support it.

What I want to see is stable overview tabs so I can reliably switch tabs without the overview forgetting which tab I'm on. Very annoying to be in the pvp tab and only see mission tab stuff.

Might want to email a link to this thread to a CSM.

edit- actually I take it back, having a second overview that was super skinny and only showed the icons would be quite useful as an instawarp out.


EVEN BETTER. I wan't bookmarks on my overview so I can spam click to a SS instead of having to use the context menu.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

While they're at it, they need to fix filters so that I can have a tab to just show people I can shoot. Not sure when that got broken, but it is.

I am just happy they refreshed the update rate of the overview...
Makes flying nano ships so much less painful.
Now if they only fix the overview freezing problems.......
