New Goon Scam to destroy PLEX market - Part of Burn Jita April 28th

Am I too late? I think it's time to invest another €200 in PLEX to sell after April 28th.

If the Goons bought up all the available PLEX, why would they need to blow them up?

The act of buying them up would have the desired effect of driving up prices, and then they would have them on hand to profit off of once the price reached a high enough level.

I fail to see how this plan would work.
If you know this is going on, crack open the courier packages to see what is in it. (You can still finish it.)
If they put 10 PLEX in a 5b collateral contract, then don't take the contract.
If they put 10 PLEX in a 1b collateral contract, take the 5b-1b and run.
If it is somebody's regular courier mission, then go off and do it.

In some ways, seeing the goons tear the entire game to shreds would be interesting to see. I wonder how much CCP loves their sandbox concept? Will they allow it to be griefed as a whole? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I for one hope you are correct. Makes the Plex I have sitting in jita worth so much more. Anyone want to sell their Super cheap. On the 28th I will have Billions because Scooter says my Plex will be worth a bil or two a piece.

If they purchase them, which prevents others from having access to those PLEX, how is it any more effective (or dangerous) to destroy them.

They would be harming themselves more than everyone else if they destroyed them.

I think I have a better scam in mind to end up with Plex in the market. Its a tricky one but may work:

1-have lots of Plex
2-contract Plex to self
3-accept contract with Plex
4-behold Plex in inventory
5-buy more Plex
6-count your Plex
7-have lots of Plex?continue to step 8, otherwise go back to 4
8-stack your Plex
9-think about your Plex
10-destroy your Plex

Ok, steps 1-4 are not absolutely necessary for the plan to work but 10 is a much prettier number than 6.
