Wasn't there a patch in the previous 12 months which stopped drones from being able to decloak you? Or was that just to break the post jump cloak?

All you really need after your first foray into bubble town is a bit of advice..

For your situation it helps to have an overview tab that is set to "Everything."

Worried about decloaking? Switch to your everything tab! In a mission and can't find your objective- switch to your everything tab! In a big fleet fight and you suspect your overview is bugged- switch to your everything tab and then back to your Pvp tab (that usually fixes it!)

Just do it -> Everything Overview Tab -> Don't forget to save it too.




Oh and sort by distance...

First cloak, then activate MWD. Much better for obvious reasons.
There was a time this was not possible,b/c a prop mod couldn't be activated after hitting cloak.
But it was changed some time ago.

If you activate the MWD just after the cloak, you get one cicle MWD with your ship cloaked.



I tried this the other day and managed to get my cloaky T3 out of a wh camp.

Keep in mind there is a long time animation bug that appears sometimes if you are on grid & cloaked. If someone else is getting shot at , for what ever reason, sometimes you will see the animation that shows you getting shot at.

Freaked me out 1st time it ever happened to me.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

As far as overview... I didn't have it set up for everything. I only had stargates, stations, and ships on it, so it's more than likely that there was stuff near me that I didnt' even know was there. I think I'll make a tab just for flying around in cov ops with everything on it.

The killmail is just me and the guy that killed me.
