EVE Voice Push to Talk doesn't work

I'm unable to use Eve-Voice because the Push To Talk button doesn't seem to do anything. Every now and then when I press it, the chat bubble icon will light up green for a moment then immediately turn off.

I've shutdown teamspeak and restarted EVE, still doing the same. Tried it on different PTT keys and everything does the same. Most of the time pressing the button does nothing, but again now and then I see myself go green and then white again. This is with the channel being set as speaking channel (red icon on chat tab)

I can hear everyone just fine.
