Who we are…
Royal Black Watch Highlanders is based upon mutual respect, trust and caring. We exist solely to have fun and enjoy our time in EVE together. Every game has guilds, corporations, clans, etc. In all of them there has always been a common theme: "Do things our way if you join us". We believe that the most important function of any game organization is to help enable you, the members, to have FUN.

With the above being said it is important to keep in mind that we are a 0.0 corporation with a focus on both PVP and Industry. As such, while we do not require members to join roams or other "ops", all members are expected to be willing and able to PVP at any time they are active to defend our assets and our home area. Regional defense is not optional. Pilots are also expected to have fleet-standard fitted ships on hand if they are capable of flying them.

What we're looking for:
  • Players interested in a fun, friendly environment
  • Motivated team players
  • Ability to fly a shield tanked BC in PVP is required.
  • Ability to fly a bomber or other T2 frigate is required.
  • FC Experience and/or Blackops capability a plus.
  • Miners & Manufacturers are welcome as long as they are willing to join in PVP operations.
  • All pilots must be willing to train Cyno 4. (Alts for this are fine)
  • All pilots must be willing to train anchoring 5 and starbase defense management 4. (Alts for this are fine)
  • Pilots must be willing to provide limited api keys for any and all of their EVE accounts.
  • No applicants with more than 6 player corporations per year in their history will be considered.

What do we do:

  • Black OPS roams (thus the requirement to be able to at least fly a bomber
  • Cap Drops when we find decent targets
  • AHAC and Nanohac gangs
  • BC Roams
  • Super-Happy-Fun-Day frig, destroyer and T1 cruiser roams
  • Industry and Logistics arm is 2nd to none.
  • Exploration ops and Wormhole Raids
  • When in empire we do incursion ops and level 4 and 5 mission gangs
  • We have even been known to break out the exhumer fleet from time to time with rorqual support.


What we don't do:

  • SOV - Been there, done that, have the T-Shirt. We live in NPC null-sec and we like it here.
  • Asshattery - We don't tolerate it at all.
  • Drama - RBWH is a drama-free zone. I, as CEO, don't tolerate drama in corp and we try very hard not to recruit folks who are drama-llamas. Those who manage to join generally get shown the door very quickly if they don't mend their ways.
  • Mandatory Alarm Clock CTA's - We do CTA when necessary but we don't ask pilots to set alarm clocks to attend them. If you're on great... if not we fully believe and support Real Life being far far more important than EVE.
  • Scream/Shout/Rage at mistakes - Mistakes happen and we know this. Newer pilots and older alike make them. Our policy is to try to help people learn from mistakes, not rage at them for making one.
  • Scam/Grief - While we will occasionally suicide gank someone in highsec or kill a can flipper and we will definitely kill anyone who isn't blue in lowsec or nullsec we do not tolerate scamming or griefing other players, especially newbies.

Great pilots! Solid Leadership! I've been with this this Corp for close to a year and it has remained strong through every challenge that has faced it. A wonderful corporation to call home no matter what time zone you play in.

....Also if you' re looking for PVP you can find it here in all flavors from solo to small gang to large coalition fleets. If your on the lower end of the skill requirments we have have plenty of training information and pilots willing to help you get settled in.

Since I've been with RBWH it has always striven to be a multinational corporation.... So all timezones are welcome. I'm sure we are stronger in the EU and US prime time but we would love to have more Australian / New Zealand timezone players to join.

We're still out here having fun, getting in a little PVP and a little group therapy now and then. If you feel like you'd fit into our mixed group give us a shout. We're always looking forward to meeting new folks and bringing the best of them into the family. We went on a bit of a walkabout recently but now we're home and having fun together in our old digs once more.

Still the best corp I have ever flown with. Plenty of pew and upgraded mining and ratting in SOV space.
You have the freedom to chose how you want to play and take part in what interests you.
Large fleet fights to small 10 gangs on a daily basis. Fun times . Been in a year and a half and never regret it.

Corp is back in empire for a couple weeks doing some R&R before heading back to 0.0. Jump aboard now if you want to get in early on the next chapter of our story.

Always looking for more pilots who are looking to join a team of dedicated and mature pilots who have always kept in mind that RL > EVE and at the end of the day this is just a game. All while still having a load of fun in PVP, PVE or whatever else we do in the game.

I've been with the corp since I was a 7 mil sp character. In that time I learned alot about pvp, nullsec, sov, and many other aspects of eve, and I had a ton of fun along the way. If you're new to pvp you honestly won't find a better place to learn then blackwatch. We aren't one of those entities that win by out blobbing the enemy fifty to one or hotdropping a bunch of supercaps. When we defeat our opponents, we defeat them because of skill. If that sounds like something you'd enjoy, you should look us up.

Oh and the fact that the corp understands RL > EvE is a wonderful thing tbh.

Now you might be wondering, "Why would I want to join a corporation like Royal Black Watch Highlanders." and you may have read all the above posts and yet still aren't convinced. Well have I got an argument for you, young space cadet.

You see, there are several options you may have. Do I want join a 0.0 corporation and leave the safety of my carebear intergalactic space of relative safety and monotony? You sure betcha do!

Now you might be a veteran of another corporation and wonder why I would lower myself the our level? You sure betcha do!

Of course you could be a miner casually accepting the pittance of ore the high-sec areas provide happily going about your days in abysmal despair and think that is enough for me? You sure betcha don't!

Now please tell me that you will think long and hard at the above arguments and come to the realization that you have been wrong all of these years and that you now finally see the light! Please stop thinking so damn hard and join us already!

As you can see our guys are pretty enthusiastic about the corp. We've been around a long time and aren't going anywhere so you have guaranteed stability built in. We're a friendly bunch and enjoy chatting it up and having a good time but able to get serious on ops and events as well. We enjoy all aspects of EVE's game play and this allows us to have events that span most walks of EVE life from Incursion gangs to go have a little fun in empire to lowsec roams, 0.0 roams, even mining ops occur. We also do some exploration and wormhole diving from time to time.

I'm a new member of this corp and I'm loving, a lot of freedom and fun in RBWH. Very tight knit and high end crew.
