I think someone either should remove, or update the clients links on the login screen.

Start up your launcher, links there are current and good.
Push Play, and start the client. Push [Patch Info] and u get:

¤ Patch 288329 to 292761 addresses Patch Notes for Incarna 1.1.1

Released Tuesday, September 13, 2011.
....

I could be wrong, but my calender says its 2012, and April.
Think someone might wanna verify the other buttons there. They seem correct except for the "patch info" that got left behind 6 months...

These links (with up-to-date content) have been added to the launcher and we are in the process of removing them from the client.

The launcher links don't work. They always start an empty browser.

I just checked the "Latest Patch Notes", "Account Management" and "Customer Support" links in the launcher and they correctly open http://community.eveonline.com/updates/patchnotes.asp , https://secure.eveonline.com/ and https://support.eveonline.com/pages/petitions/createpetition.aspx on my computer (using the system default browser, Firefox 11).

I also just get an empty IE window when clicking any link in the launcher, with nothing entered in it's address bar. System default browser is Opera. I've filled a bug report on it a couple of days ago that was subsequently attached to a defect.

What's the bug report number?

Everyone: What kind of an empty window opens, what is the default browser and what operating system and language?

Of course, sorry, here it is: 131469

Default browser is Opera, and I never use IE unless I absolutely have to, which is barely ever. there is no logical reason I can see for it to be started.
OS is Win7 x64, OS language is English, location & formats (like time & number format as well as keyboard layout) is set to German.

The IE window that opens is (almost) exactly the same window I get when I click on any standard link to IE (maximized, nothing displayed in it). The only slight difference is that when starting IE from a link, the address bar contains "about:blank" (as that's the default I've set), when clicking on any link in the launcher it doesn't contain anything. The address bar text field is completely empty.

I hope this helps Smile
