What has been done is done. You, gallente people, instead of working in present for the sake of the Future, are too much living in the past. This is another reason, why the Federation is doomed.

This is a government of a mob, that represents point of view of a commoner, not very dumb, and not very smart. There are no special institutes like heirs or emperors, who are taught to rule from their childhood. The Federation is ruled not by executors or CEOs, who proved themselves as efficient managers, but by mere politicians, who get their chairs only because mob likes them. Well, for now, you have a CEO as a president too, but before this you had Foiritan, and who knows, what loved by public clown will come next. This is another reason, why the Federation is doomed.

Out of curiosity, what qualifications beyond the love of the mob does Mr. Heth have?

Just tell me, how many years did the State tried to take the Caldari Prime back by means of diplomacy. And how many days it took to return it by force. What was more efficient?

Mr. Inhonores' point was actually that war happens when diplomacy fails. Not about what is more efficient. But around 100 years of asking nicely sounds right. As for retaking it by force, it took 200 years.

I'm quite good at Diplomacy, thank you.

...It just bores me.

Though you provide a comprehensive, albeit criminally biased, run down of how you see politics amongst Empyreans, you miss one vital point General. We are not your homogenized 'all the same but different' lie of a Federation. You claim to respect differences, but kill in the name of a symbol that better represents bloodshed in the name of an ideal more than any Sabik icon. I won't drag this into a blame game, the wars of the past have criminals on both sides as do those of the present, but your crime is to presume you have a moral high ground by virtue of subscribing to your nation's political policies.

We are soldiers General, politics may apply in the war room or the offices of thin-blooded administrators that we are required to kowtow to in the interests of oiling the machinery of conflict, but we will never be politicians. Concerns outside of defending our ways of life are distractions and positively a sign that one is flagging in ones own convictions.

Your record speaks for itself General, you were a soldier. But as they say 'I think the gentlemen does protest too much'. Your problem is domestic, the focus on the political a disease of your way of life. Get your head straight and line up your guns, or cast them down, knowing that you have fought for a cultural imperialist lie. These moralizations are eroding the reputation your record has built so well, and I only hope that it is a sign that you are coming to your senses, or that hypocrisy and the stresses of your position are about to remove an enemy of the State from the field for good.

I will try to remember that you were a soldier, not a sock-puppet for poisonous Federation ideals.

Your essays fascinate me, General. Have you ever considered a career in politics? I'm sure you would perform outstandingly.

I believe the General attempted to win political office within the Federation once before. To the best of my admittedly imperfect recollection, he did not fare well.

He lost, but it wasn't by too much, I think. Second place by seven percent of the vote isn't too bad, is it?

If nothing else, the entire campaign was a source of regular amusement.
