I'm creating an ore calc that calculate what is best to sell. The raw ores or the refined ores
I'm new at this kind of stuff and my php skills are not the best
but i will like to share the project I'm doing for my corp
i will try to keep it simple so there are no advanced features

what it does: ( atm it calculate from a 100% refined stand point )
u type in the amount of ore u have of a certain ore typ
then u type in the price for ores and minera
after that u click calculat

then it will tell u the total amount of isk if u sell it all as raw or refined
it also split it up to tell u what sells best as raw or refine

I think it's a good thing to know if selling raw would be better. But from what I've found, selling refined is better on the market than selling raw. Reason being that the way pricing goes, you'll always lose a little bit in raw ore instead of refined minerals.

But your idea was in the right place. You saw a need and you decided to make a script to fill that need. Now that is a true developer in my eyes. Keep learning PHP and find new ways to make our mining lives in eve easier ^^

P.S. Personally I think you should finish this php app. If you build it properly, your calc will confirm what I've already said about refined selling better than raw. So don't let me tell you, let your app tell you. Then you'll KNOW you're right ^^
