so many tengu characters on sale due to recent bot banning

I think we may claim at least partial credit for this. We've been suiciding Tengus lately, and it turns out a lot of the ones we popped belonged to a major botter. He threatened us, and tried sending mercs after us, but they didn't end up interfering much.

Let me see if I understand what you are saying.

There is a sudden influx of Tengu pilots for sale on character bazaar because you are harassing a botter? That's nearly as bad as what the OP came up with.

You can make a salable Tengu pilot for free with a buddy invite. That is why there are so many for sale. No other reason.

I've had on at least 3 occasions someone push really hard to just transfer their account over instead of going through the standard character transfer process after agreeing to a price on a Character Bazaar listing. (of course I did not accept any such offer and insisted to use the CCP sanctioned process)

I would not be surprised if some of these are indeed trying to do that via in-game PM's when trying to sell the toon.

Edit: However if they are currently serving their 2 week ban it would be a bit early for that kind of thing.

Empire needs more organical goo for experiments. Something suggests that biomassed chars actually undergo unheard Jovian experiments before they get desintegrated.

Either not working as intended or there is a work around. Sell the account details on E-bay grey market.

Make it loud! CCP needs to react. Even stricter counter measures to bots. Please recycle and instant banhammer all of their stuff. Do not let them grace periods. Auto anti bot software please.

People can try to sell their accounts to get around the new restrictions (which are great, by the way) but they're opening up a Pandora's box for themselves...

If some people are stupid enough to buy black market account from ie ebay and risk getting banhammered and identity tagged to CCP's botter/rmt list, they are quite stupid enough to do just that - no matter what we say here.

You know there are people who trade 1 trit for billions of isk too .)

I don't know if this is a new scam (BOT) or not

there was a buy order for 31,000,000.00 for EMP S @ 100 ISK EA
I purchased the items needed to make this buy order (14M from the same station) as soon as I completed the buy order and went to sell, that sell order was removed.

Unless you were watching your account and waiting for this, no human could have acted that fast..............

I don't care about the ISK i used to buy the EMP S, they will sell over time.. but the fact that some one is cheating this bad...

It's a margin trading scam.

Perfectly legit and a perfectly stupid mechanic that needs fixing desperately.
