simple old concept stop damage to planets, moons or stations from gigantic asteriod impacts by mining it to death.
mix reward of medals LP and minerals.
would be nice if set up like sansha incurssions with that sort of warning system

Sounds like a popcorn event to me.
That's one mission I would fail often especially if it impacts a POS/station/planet/ship/pod/anything of some corp I don't like.
