Did I interpret that blip of information from Hilmar on the CCP Present correctly?
World of Darkness to be a part of the EVE universe?

EVE -> Space Navy
DUST -> Marines
DARKNESS -> Civilian Population?

That would be bad ass!

As WoD is a vampire game, I very much doubt it will be part of the EVE universe.

Let's pretend this is a true statement. And let's throw away that twilight cliche while we're at it.

Alright.

If the vampires in WoD are, in fact, living on a single planet in the EVE Universe, that would not make them space vampires.

Now, if we could launch an orbital bombardment at them... Nah, they still wouldn't be space vampires.

Just because a population lives on a planet doesn't mean they're even remotely affiliated with the happenings in the space environment.

Reminds me of the book, "Out of the Dark" by Weber. He too mixes vampires and space battles. The ending of that book has to be read to be believed. Might be the worst ending of a book of all time, really you need to read it. It's so bad that it's good.

World of Darkness is a franchise originally made by White Wolf incorporated (before they merged with CCP).

World of Darkness is about an apocalyptic future where Earth is full of werewolves, vampires, zombies, mutants, and corporate overlords trying to take over the world.

Some of the products in the World of Darkness franchise were Rage (a card game), Werewolf: The Apocalypse (an RPG), and a few others. I heard rumors that World of Darkness also included Magic: The Gathering, but I'm not so sure on that one.
