I casually trade with around 5B in capital, make between 100-250M per day, with 1-3 logins. Support two accounts with PLEX and the capital grows at about 15-20% per month, after PLEX and expenses. Work it out ;)

I see so many threads where people state how much they make per hour.
I am not interested in that

I also see many people state how much OTHER's make per hour
I am not interested in that either

What I am interested in is how much someone has to make MINIMUM per hour to "survive" in this game

Now, given there are myriad ways to play this game, and each eats or creates money at equally myriad rates

But let me form an example of what I may suggest is a "typical" player, even though I know such a player does not exist
I would further suggest that this "typical" player's numbers could be all over the map, but at least it is a starting point of dicussion

First off, assumptions

Player is online 15 hours/week
Player pays for game time with real world money, not in game plex
Player has 1 account
Of that 15 hours a week, player spends 20% of their time (3 hours) in some form of non-ISK generation play. It could be PvP based, or ship spinning, or whatever
Player loses 200M million ISK in ships and modules / week, after all insurance and salvage. (That number averages in everyone who NEVER loses a ship to those that lose a Titan every year. I personally think that 200M / player is very low.
Player also is burning through about 40 M/ week in skill books. That number is quite lower when your char gets older and gets involved in longer skill queues, but in the first year of play, people burn through a lot.

So, based on my numbers, which I have pulled mostly out of thin air, lead to net operating costs of 240 million/week
If someone has 12 hours a week to dedicate to generating 240M, which is 20M / hour

That seems pretty low to me, but frankly, my numbers are based on someone who is playing pretty casually.
Also, I am looking at the costs of some T2 cruisers, and shudder at how much someone has to "work" in game to pay to replace that ship.

50m profit per day is pretty terrible, matey.

50 mill a day is a guy who logs in for 3 hrs during the week and does level 4's stops to grab something to eat, shoots the breaze in chat, logs out and watches TV after 3 hrs.

It's called healthy gaming.

I'm afraid I'm at a negative ISK amount/hour at the moment. Building up a hauler fleet costs a lot in gear and skillbooks, and building up corp standing via Distribution missions will not even cover the basics...

Without expenses I'm perhaps at about 1 million/hour, about 30 minutes a day, and a couple hours on the weekends.
