CSM5 & CSM7 bannings - history repeating itself?

Back in CSM 5 Ankhesentapemkah, CSM member with second highest number of votes, and sole hisec rep received a ban and to be best of my knowledge disappeared from the game afterwards.

There was no rerun of the election. There was no real hisec candidate at any time afterwards until the new CSM 7, disenfranchising most EVE players and CCP customers.

There was no great forum outcry. I voted for Ankh and was disappointed my vote was 'wasted'. But that CSM member did make a mistake and there were consequences. I guess I should have voted for a more responsible candidate.

The CSM6 chairman has received a ban from CSM7. Never mind the bullying issue. Being the chairman of the CSM - figurehead of the playerbase - and drunk on stage at EVE's showcase event, potentially in the glare of the media, is just unprofessional. As one would expect there have been consequences as a result of his actions.

There are plenty of other 0.0 CSM members who I would expect have a similar viewpoint to the guy just banned. No need to rerun the elections. That didn't happen in the past.

I have nothing against goonswarm, but am a little upset that the bloke seen by the world as representative of the EVE playerbase has shown himself to be a tad immature.

Hope goonswarm can field a more professional candidate next time.

Nobody used Ankhe's banning as a political springboard, and nobody tried to attach the tag "cyber bully" to Ankhe's real life identity.

lets fix the npc alt post by re posting it with a corp alt that has no affiliated link to the original poster

when everyone has to understand is that mittani is and has been a cyber bully from the day he started eve online and as i suspect in many other games he has played in his life.

for the simple cfc member to understand it is against the law in many country's included the US for anyone to bully / harass someone using a electronic medium, if the player that online name made a compliant against the mittani then he may have been looking at more then a 30bay ban,

I am sure the mittani will have other opportunities to show off his true nature. next time he may not just get the 30day ban but something that suits the loLawyer of eve.

The Queen of Spoons was removed for a legitimate reason, and the King of Tears has also been removed for a legitimate reason. Now we can watch him live up to his new title on Twitter and watch his loyal puppies run around trying to do damage control (even though the entire thing was preplanned. See sig).

Why are folks still making posts about him, anyway?
