It also raises some flags that someone from CCP heard this was what he was saying.

Good... now can we let this thread die already? Its obvious he apologized simply to cover his ass... but I am pretty sure that everything that is going to happen in regards to this fiasco has happened (with the exception of the Jita riots which should be pretty fun honestly).... that's it shows over folks. Move along.

Reading comprehension.

I do agree Richard this thread should have been closed a long time ago. (by a long time ago I mean 3 days ago.)

My agenda here is simple and transparent. I am using both rouge operator and demichael crimson's post counts to bump this thread way way ahead of the WIS thread they are so fond of. The oft heard cry in that thread is "see this is the biggest thread on the forums, that shows how important WIS is to the player base."

The fact that a single drunk capsuleer saying something in very poor taste in a room full of drunk people can generate a much larger thread than WIS in less than 5% of the time the WIS thread has been in existence shows how little the playerbase really care about barbies.

It is with great pleasure that I have the honor to tell you that you are indeed wrong.

The WiS thread is not the thread I'm so fond of and rarely do I see anyone saying that it's the biggest thread on the forums. But hey, please keep fanning the flames of this thread. All it's going to accomplish is make more trouble for your messiah and his 'people'.

FYI - This thread shows that a large portion of the community is morally outraged and disgusted with the grief mentality that is so prevalent in everything related to Eve. It also shows CCP that it's time to make some changes.

Or you know... People could use their brain before they speak.

No, I apologise for that statement. I understand that many people are missing that part of their body.

True words. Damaging CCP just to try and get an in game result against a person who blew up their pixels.

Noone is calling for Soundwave to be fired in this instance unlike during Incarna.

It raises the issue that CCP was there during the "Drinks with Bolton" interview in January where Mittens laid out his plan to call for people to commit suicide "in front of a thousand nerds". Soundwave did nothing presumably because he didn't realize the seriousness of the commit and thought that Mittens was just BSing. I give him the benefit of the doubt. But, that it happened at fanfest just as Mittens had foretold months ago, at that point CCP should have put 2 & 2 together and permabanned Alex.

If Soundwave were a professional he would have excused himself from the interview as soon as Mittens made his statement. That he didn't and that Alex only received a 30d ban speaks volumes about CCP's relationship with Mittens. Lets hope that the January video doesn't get media attention. Unfortunately, it seems CCP is going to wait exactly for that to happen before they take further steps and at that point it's going to be a perma-ban for Mittens and probably much worse for Soundwave. CCP would be wise to be proactive. Perma-ban Alex now. And give Soundwave the symbolic slap on the wrist that they gave Alex.

Don't ban me, bro!

I like his apology and that he is stepping down. Only fair for what was said.

What I don't like is CSM loosing a Goonswarm perspective. Not that I like Goonswarm, they just add flavor to the game.

We should have a replacement vote and not just the next highest votes. That way all the people who voted for him can still speak their mind.

You know? A day or two ago I got the credit card bill. My girl friend looked it over... saw "EVE Online"... I spent the rest of the afternoon explaining how I wasn't subscribed to a porno-site but just an internet spaceshiips game. Now, I am starting to wonder if her assumption was really right all along.

A long time ago in a country I'm in, Vice Presidents were voted for the same as Presidents. If the President were to step down from office, all those who voted for him would lose their votes. So, I'm not seeing a problem.

All the Bee alts, and all the Bee pets, couldn't put their deposed Queen together again. Shocked

You need to quit arguing your personal opinion, fed to you by your fearless leader, and actually look at what happened...Cool

Then move along, get outside, and realize their is more to life than a game of space pixels....
