Hi,

I have get into a C1 with a Hulk inside an Indy, used and now that I want to take it out the WH to high sec say the ship is to big.

If I find a WH connecting to a C2 from my C1, can I use this WH to jump the Hulk there and then try to find a high sec exit in the C2?

Thanks,

C2 highsec exits allow BS-sized hulls to pass.

So, yes.

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

No, you can't take a Hulk out of a C1 (or a Covetor). WHs to/from C1 systems can never take more than 20,000,000kg at a time. The Hulk hull is 40,000,000kg. Your choice is to either stay in there, leave it in there when you leave, or self destruct it.

Your problem here is that the hulk might not be able to get out via the c2, as battleships have that exact same problem.

On a plus side, insurance money! Yay!

So, yes.

While it is true that a C2 HS exit will allow up to 300mil kg to pass through, the WH that connects to that C2 from the C1 will only allow 20mil kg. As mxzf said, any WH into or out of a C1 will only allow 20mil kg.

So no, you cannot get the Hulk out.

If CCP decides to allow repackaging using SMA's and CHA's, you'll be able to get it out, but until then, it's stuck.

Thanks for correcting me and clarifying for the OP

Self destruct is your friend.

I got marooned in a dominix (with probe launcher fitted) when the corp I was in collectively failed to calculate mass properly, along with several other battleships in a system with too small a static for the battleships to get out of.

It took about a week of logging in a couple of times a day and checking for k162s or a random spawned hole that would accept the battleship before I got out. I came back with a proper probing ship and dropped off BMs in a can for corp mates, one of them got out with those.

Oops

If I leave the Hulk in the SMA, unachor it and bring it out, does the Hulk will still be there when i move the SMA to highsec?

(I keep looking for options, these are 300mm... last time I checked)

There is no loophole to get any ships otherwise too large for the WH. WH's always take the mass limitation of the smaller class. and there is not trick to squeeze a larger ships in any way to a smaller size.

Your only hope is either sell the WH with the hulk or SD it. (just had to SD my battleship I had built inside a C1 when I moved out yesterday).

Honestly didn't care. Everything paid for itself many times over.

As long as the Hulk aren't assembled, it will fit into a hauler ( i:e an Iteron X ). Once assembled inside the W/hole
it will no longer fit into any hauler. Check the properties for packaged and assembled on any item/ship, and you can
see why it no longer will fit.

If it makes you feel any better, I self-destructed a Rorqual for the insurance when I left the C2 that I built it in.

It can't be disassembled in a POS hangar I presume?

Out of curiosity, can you reprocess ships or will that be so ineffective you get more money by selfdestructing for the 40% insurance payout? No station to dock so no better insurance available?
