Ive been fooling around in EFT, and this is a possible armor fit ive come up with! Please rate/suggest improvements!

Its a pretty hybrid-y build with plates and 2 reppers. Not sure if that is over kill, but i managed to pull it off so what the heck!?

Low:
Damage Control 2
Tracking Enhancer 2
800mm rolled tungsten plates
Reactor Control Unit 2
2x Med Armor Repper 2

Medium:
Med Cap booster 2 (Navy 800)
Catalyzed Cold-Gas Thrusters
J5b Prototype Scrambler
X5 Prototype Engine Enervator

High:
6x 425mm AC 2 (Barrage)
Small Energy Neut 2
Med Energy Neut 2 (These might be worth replacing for 2x med Nos?)

Rigs:
2x Medium Projectile Collision Accelerator 1

Drones:
5x Warrior2
1x Warrior2

Please give me tips on this fit, especially neut vs nos, scram vs disruptor, if plates and duel rep is overkill, what to do with tracking enhancer (keep it? I might be able to use it for something else in my super tanky cane build?)

Other than that it seems half decent so far, dps over 400, volley over 1000, and pretty darn good tank
I sacrificed gyrostabalizers to get in the extra tank, and instead used rigs to add the damage, not a terrible trade imo. Especially for someone trying to fly very conservatively

Shield Tank Variety:
Low:
Damage Control 2
2x Tracking Enhancer 2
3x Gyrostabalizer

Medium:
Large Shield Extender 2
Catalyzed Cold-Gas Thrusters
J5b Prototype Scrambler
X5 Prototype Engine Enervator

High:
6x 425mm AC 2 (Barrage)
2x Med Energy Neut 2

Rigs:
Medium Projectile Collision Accelerator 1
2x Medium Core Defense Extender 1

Drones:
5x Warrior2
1x Warrior2

This build is a little more clean looking. It has well over 10k shield and over 500 dps. That it sticks to more standard methods appeals to me, although 3 gyros is a little unorthodox. I would greatly appreciate some critique, as im working on my ship fitting skills here

Thank you guys! You shed a lot of light on my obvious short comings making these. I will probably be working on them for a while and repost.

frankly the armor fit is a mess. buffer and active tanking on a BC is kind of a no no in my opinion. double projectile rigs is also a no no. using a reactor control is a mistake as well. if you drop the plate or the reppers you have more room to fit stuff properly like a second med nuet and damage mods in your lows. damage mods open up rig for more tank. i don't like it much. also why fit a scram AND a web? most things your size even smaller will be slower then you and if they are not then your not gonna get your web on them anyways. and even if you DO get your web on them it wont matter since your scram has nearly the same range. so if thier mwd is off web is useless. better to have a invul. if they are mwd fit and still faster then you with your mwd on then you where gonna lose the fight from the beginning. agin if your scram fit and web fit why do you need the tracking enhancers? this shield fit is a brawler. sorry for the messy typing and slapdash response. just a few observations.

Right this guy has some decent points above me however half of the **** he said is retarde
Firstly you ether buffer or active on bc tip use buffer if your gonna armor tank use a 1600 dcu eanm andb2 gyros 1 te that's your lows sOrted but now your buffer you will want to change rigs for trim arks and mids fit double web scram mwd
Highs I prefere 220s and 2 med neut

Right now I'll exPlain why your tanks a bad idea buffering reduces effectiveness of active tank due to having more hp in place of resists so your repping 500 damage a cycle random number don't quote me it's better to be repping 10 percent of high resist tank than 5 percent of low

Fit above is around 1200 m s and 600 dps

Sheild fitting one id drop a lse and put an invul
Drop a gyro or te or both and add nanos feeling posh put 650s or 720s on it of your in gang and sit at 50 and own if solo 425s or 220s I think I had Sheild extender rigs on my old one PSK don't forget med ECM drones

No.

Or you can do 425's with 1 med neut and 1 small neut.

Yeah, the person above me basically knows the skinny.

My 2 Personal Favorites are the 425 Dual Neut cane and the 220 1600 cane.

A couple of additionals -

I would fit out the 425 Shield cane with 2x Gyro 2x TE 1x DC and a Nano
EC-300s are better IMO because you can use em to disengage
For the shield cane I would go 1x Invul 1x LSE and 2x Extender Rigs 1x EM

Apart from that the first two fits are some of my favorite ships to fly in this game.

Hurricane is like the typhoon and domi in that it's perfect for utility. Use that to your advantage.
This is similar to the shield buff fits posted earlier just with more annoyance. This setup has served me very well, especially when flying with similar setups.

[Hurricane, PVP AC-425 Neut SBuff ]

6x 425mm AutoCannon II
2x Medium Energy Neutralizer II

10MN MicroWarpdrive II
Warp Scrambler II
Large Shield Extender II
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II

Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
2x Medium Core Defense Field Extender I

3x Vespa EC-600
