I know that they can't be remote repped, but can you feed them cap while sitting in siege?

Neg.

No remote assistance, not remote sebos, not tracking links, not reps, not cap.

siege is a death sentence.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

Thanks for the reply Mfume.

Now I might have to make a new topic to get a reply to this, but does anyone have any experience with running dreadnaughts in C5/6 capital escalations?

How much cap regen would be needed to not get capped out an killed if you would be targeted as soon as you enter siege?

don't think of it this way.
you need to have 4-5 spare cap rechargers and CPRs in your cargo, then just fit them off the carrier when needed.
you also want T2 cap rigs. CCCs are cheaper and work fine, i prefer mem cells personally.

tbh, i run a revelation with T2 mem cell rigs as primary dread in sleeper sites and ive never had to fit a cap mod.
with the mem cells on a rev, you have a ton of cap buffer and even if youre taking full heat you can coast out of siege and get cap/reps from the carrier.

you do want to have spare tank mods in cargo too tho.

There is no Bob.

If you get primed in siege, you're most likely dead.

Your rep will almost never be sufficient to tank incoming damage, just mitigate. If you coast, you should be fine.

Now I have never actually done high class wormhole sites with capitals myself, but I have a hard time believing this. Seeing that loads of people run capital escalations. I can't believe all of them luck out all the time and keep their dreads alive.

I think he is talking about PvP, not sleeper PvE. As for my experiences in a C5 WH, you don't really have to worry about tank on a dread in a C5 if you have a good support fleet (webber, 1-2 carriers, and preferably a second dread as well). I was armor tanking one with a fleet w/ shield links, and rarely had to run the tank, simply because they have SOOOOO much buffer. So just stick on a capital rep, and keep hardeners etc. in the cargo hold in case things start getting tricky... you won't need them often.
