The part where you said that Goons do nothing to help new players. The CFC, and Goons and TEST especially, love new players. The CFC is pretty much the opposite of what you described. Generally the people who get scammed or blown up by "Goons and Friends" are actually people who have played the game for years.

Also, Mittens did tell the epic story of how he scammed billions of ISK, at fanfest. More precisely, he gave a shout out to a Goon who sold 7 Supers that didn't exist.

And I don't deny that the 7 supers story was epic. I'm saying that taking the p*** out of someone that clearly and without a doubt is upset in a very out of game fashion is going TOO FAR.

You only like noobs, cos their easy to scam. I've met plenty of people that have played the game for the trial and said they didn't like it becasue it felt too elitist. They felt they come in, have to question everything for it beign a scam, then the second they trust anyone longer than a second get everythign taken from them, and that's just no fun.

If it wasn't for the fact that I've been around for a very long time, have ~12 active characters and know what the hell I'm doing (albeit there have been times I've been caught out... cheers for the 2 bil loss Mulcahy!), I might be gone too inn their shoes.

I thought your apology was sincere ,contrite and deserved..You crossed a line (rl vs the internet) and you owned up to it. It was of course an uncalled for attack using extremely personal info that frankly put yourself in the worst personal light...I was impressed by how candid you were and how you took responsibilty for your actions, without resorting to excuses ..I intended to say as much.

You changed your tune completely when you got your punishment ... Got a pretty light ban imo ( 30 days) Roll... Lost some player /ccp position..I thought you got off light tbh and if it had been just some nobody I would bet they would be permabanned.....Could easily have been a perma ban (would have been in some games) imo but whatever ... Very reasonable and you had a chance to take your medicine like a man and move on ...Which would have been highly commendable .




However right before I posted, i just watched some vid of you acting like the "victim" , ...Basically whining about the result of your own actions. eg your punishment.....Saying you were ****** and how "they" are trying to make you quit and destroy your corp..Which of course isnt true in the slightest. I say they could easily have perma banned you for what ya did. In fact in some western countries you are getting into a very grey legal area and that person would have some recourse.....It is all well and good if he doesnt do something stupid after beening perma griefed by hundreds of your guildies at your request in order to get a disgusting result which you publically stated.


However if he does go off the deep end ( and no one can predict that ) and he left a note with you name on it ..Well lets just say your eve ban would cease to be a concern of yours. It would not have been the first time regretful words turned someones entire world upside down and you getting "f**ked" might become literally true.

Don't you worry about the goons losing their leader. He's got banned on The Mittani. What's the chances a guy that into EVE is solo accounting it? He's probably still playng his other 7 accounts just fine.

The game does have a fairly steep learning curve, which is why Goons have a wiki with guides for new players that is publicly available. Admittedly, it is a tad outdated, I believe learning skills are still on there.

The Mittani is so meta he doesn't have to log in to Eve.

He can have a devastating impact on the game world from comms.

Not to mention Jabber, the forums...

Just to confirm: The Mittani is so meta you cannot actually ban him from Eve, no matter what.

Your ignorance when claiming to operate 12 accounts and have been around for a long time is amusing. The goon wiki is the best new player reference in the game.

They can permaban your character. It's a deterrent to anyone with an old character. Unfortunately, all it means if you end up getting abuse from lots and lots of 2 month old character alts lol
