I currently have a GTX560Ti which was an upgrade from a GTX260. I love my new card. Absolutely awesome for every game I play. I run a Q6600 Quad Core processor with 8 gigs of DDR3 RAM. Not sure of the speed. My current bottleneck is my HDD. 7200 RPM just isn't enough anymore. I plan to purchase a 60gig SSD for my OS as well as a 250gig SSD for games in the future. Ill stick to using a 7200 RPM 1.5TB drive for storage.

I use the Hierarchy Chart from Tom's Hardware for video card comparisons. They are pretty solid when it comes to PC hardware.

Let's see... It's a couple of years old but still runs fine.

- Debian Squeeze x64
- Wine 1.4
- Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16Mhz
- 6Gb DDR2
- Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti
- Benq 24" something
- Two Seagate Barracuda V 120Gb in raid, EVE on raid-0 partition. (I store everything on a server so I don't really need that much space on this computer.)

Im pretty much an ASUS guy all the way...mostly because they have never wronged me. The 2 times I did have a hardware malfunction they handled it very well and made sure I was happy every step of the way. Can't say the same for EVGA and a few others I have use.

I'm eyeballing the new Seagate hybrid drive. Optimized for reads at SSD speed nice storage at 750, called the momentus 750xt. I think the read speed is all I'm looking for.

Only problem with SSD's right now is the price. They have them now to where the estimated lifetime of the drive is far longer than any human being can live but the price for the drives is still well over $1 per gig. Im waiting patiently for them to come down.

From what they've said at Fanfest, the 560's the most common card that Eve players use (well, that said anything about it)

Intel i5 something or other
8GB RAM
2x 21.5 inch widescreen
GT240 (for the next couple of days. Then a GTX 560 ti)
500GB sata 2 drive.
Windows 7 64bit

Woo! CSM XI!

Are you seriously complaining that your computer can't handle EVE with a 12 year old processor?

Nice to see someone else still running a Q6600...

Case: Cooler Master Cosmos 1000
Mainboard: Gigabyte P38-DS4 Rev2
CPU: Q6600 Quad (was overclocked to 3.0 Ghz at one point), OCZ Vendetta cooler.
Video: Palit 8800 GT (1 gig video mem, non-reference design)
Mem: 8 Gig (4 x 2 Gig OCZ)
HDD: Segate Momentus 500 Gig (one heck of a trick making a 2.5" drive fit in the Cosmos)
HDD 2: Varies (semi-hot docking port), usually a WD Green 1 TB or 1.5 TB
Win 7 x64 Home Premium

Primary Monitor – Acer G215H, DVI
Secondary Monitor - Dell 19" wide-screen (bought used)
Video port - attached to my 32" Sony Trinitron next to the PC. Great for FanFest and Alliance Tourney (uses PiP).

Runs just fine on medium settings. I've run one account on each monitor but only for the occasional trade/contract (I don't like splitting attention).

Asus M4A89GTD/USB3 Pro
iGPU is ATI HD4290 (I use this for my HDTV)
AMD Phenom II x4 965BE
4GB DDR3 1600
ATI HD4890 eGPU

I have 0 issues with any eve content until I try multiboxing. Then I need to either minimize clients or reduce settings, and even then, its only when zoomed in on models or CQ. As always, when engaged in GPU intensive eve content, reduce settings and hide brackets. None of my stuff is OC'd.

Obligatory nerd epeen post:

MB: Asus M4N something or other
P: AMD Phenom 2 9850 (I think)
VC: MSI (ridiculous part name) 1GB 560ti
Mem: 8GB Cosair
Case: Antec P180
PS: Corsair 650 watt 80plus

Secondary: 500GB WD green drive

Eve is buttery smooth including the CQ on a 16:10 ratio monitor

Also I still have a floppy drive...that works

Intel Q9650 quad core CPU @ 3 ghz
8 gigs of some ram that was best 3 years ago - forgot the specs - think it's Kingston
Asus P5Q Deluxe board
Some Phantom GTX 570 1 gig Gfx card
1 TB seagate raid 0 array and a couple of TB in external drives.
All stuffed into some dirt cheap 14 year old big tower case I ususally leave open
2x 24" Samsung screens (1920x1200)

Haven't upgraded in 3 years except for the GPU - guess I'll swap mobo, CPU and ram soon.
