Miscellaneous

  • Pilots with a Global Criminal Countdown in high security space will be prevented from warping (if they are in any ship other than a capsule). This is to prevent a tactic declared to be an exploit recently.
  • Improved the clock synchronization of the client.
  • Fixed several client crashes.
  • New Eden has become a better place by fixing an exploit.

  • I am intrigued, what exploit?

Is this commentary on the boomerang?

also this patch removed the ability to undock and suicide gank while under a GCC, but oh well :/

Does this quote mean that all those people that bought the book to reprocess are left with worthless books if they didnt reprocess them in time?

    Pax Amarria most likely.

    They dont ever divulge exploits.

It's ok, they can simply say they intended to do that and appear to be a bigger friend to the carebears.
It's a spectacular return to form for CCP, maybe a couple more redundancies are overdue.

It was their intention to stop the 'boomerang tactic' from working, which i am fine with.

But the way they did it was a little bit fudged, so now you cant attempt to leave station with a GCC and suicide gank.

It'd be nice to know if they meant for this to be 'fixed' as well.

edit - i havent attempted to suicide under GCC for a few months, but i knew it was possible

Well this is pretty ****** up... So CCP said you can't even warp in a shuttle?

******* retards... let people run gates under GCC...

Let alone you can't warp at all now with GCC... thats ****** up...

What about leaving lowsec and running HS?

Anyone see what the message says yet? OBV concord does not have you tackled yet so what is CCPs excuse now?

The right way to fix this would be "concord broadcasts a system wide self destruct siginal to your ship, it will now self destruct in 10 seconds"

So if it takes 5 sec for concord responce... the sig goes out after 10 seconds... thats 15seconds in... you die in 25seconds...

    Pax Amarria most likely.

    They dont ever divulge exploits.

calling Pax Amarria an exploit would be strong - the eve economy used to have several artificial ceilings on mineral prices for a very long time - this did only start to change once EyjoG came on board.

NPC seeded Coupling Arrays did set a cap on Tritanium prices at 2.3 ISK pu and when they were removed in 2007, NPC seeded shuttles capped Tritanium at 3.6 ISK pu until that cap was removed in 2008.
Once shuttles were removed Civilian Afterburners formed another (softer) cap at [3.6-] 4.4 ISK pu which was eventually removed by CCP, too.
Then you had hardcoded insurance prices which led to another cap, this time on the mineral basket as a whole.

CCP made it clear that they don't like hard ceilings on mineral prices as the economic sandbox is strong enough to lead to reasonable equlibria without them - but nobody ever talked about bumping into one of these caps as an "exploit"

If you pick up a GCC in low-sec, don't bother jumping to high-sec.

Fix POSes.  Every player should want one (even if all players can't have one).

concord are more mighty then simply needing to tackle you, hell they posess "voodoo technology" that keeps you from jumping through a wormhole.

Relax m8. You can still suicide gank just not while under GCC. Which of course means you need to have a somewhat decent security status. Hmmm that may be a problem....

being -10 doesnt give you a GCC

shooting someone gives you a 15 minute GCC and if you undock in high sec with a GCC concord will be after you.
Being -10 only the navy comes after you.

(if you didnt know in concord controlled space the navy is concord with all its ownage weapons)

Does this count the capsule? Are the capsules of gankers gonna be stuck on the grid to the indies can then get in a noob ship, go back an kill them?

Goons; infiltration at its best - first bob... now ccp itself. They dont realize you guys dot take this as "just a game". Bring it down guys, we're rooting for you.

If those noobie miners want to be -10.

But no, it doesn't apply to pods.

But you have to be really fast, destroyer hull or below. Otherwise you probably wont make it.

Note that it is also a (seperate) exploit to avoid being destroyed by CONCORD in high sec when you gain a GCC

can you? I dont understand why ppl QQ over this. that statement's pretty damned clear to me
