I would say that it would only be fair if it had the same limitations as ships and their MJD. It would only activate on targets more than 150km away, lands 20km away from target and continues burn to target. This would be a much needed buff to cruise missile sniping. Instead of taking 90 seconds to reach target, it takes 15 seconds, but only when said target is 150km+ away.

Limitations: Cruise missiles cannot engage warhead while MJD is active, They cannot follow the target while in warp. Can only be used if BS is in some sort of seige mode. They can move (and use prop mods), just not warp, as the ships targeting system has to be designating the target with which the missile has to hit. stop firing MJD Cruise missiles and the warp drive can activate.

Was really just trying to find a creative excuse to add a maximum time-to-target mechanic for cruises. They're so bad at the moment that I don't believe there needs to be a counterbalance mechanic in addition to it.

Hell I'm tempted to make the case that it should just be included in all long range T2 guided missiles.

Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either.

Will these warp missiles be useless if the defenders drop a bubbling hic on your raven fleet? Lol

TBH I like the idea of warp missiles. Cruise do need looking at badly, with their terrible flight time, lol damage, large exp radius etc.. The POS ICBM thing would be cool were it not for the players who would abuse the hell out of it lol.

Also i want to strap the warp drives from probes onto a bomb, and use a set of combat probes scanning to warp bombs onto my target. Pirate
