EVE online does have a big problem with racism, sexism and other vulgarity.

If CCP want's eve to grow and have any kind of recognition it will have to kill the racism and other hate. EVE players also seem to have a particular hate against the gay community with 1/2 of all fights involving at least someone typing or saying the F A @ word at some point.

It offends people, it's sad ,grow up we know 1/2 of you don't mean and are just using it as the first insult that comes to hand but some people are victims of some serious hate and vilonce in RL, having it brought against them in a game is pretty poor behaviour.

I'd not worry pretty much every profesional sport or game goes through this before the community hammers down on it. I think a simple warning then every increasing time bans for this sort of thing would be an easy fix.

I've probably used some terrible language in EVE in the past too but still it's no excuse to continue doing it.
