ecm drones, help please

In particular EC drones.

can someone explain ecm drones strengths please, all EC drones have across the board multi spectral jamming strengths but all also have magnetometric strengths i.e. Vespa has 7.5 across the board but also 1.5 magnometric, whats the 1.5 for?
all EC drones have at the bottom of the attributes description a magnetometric strength, why?

ECM drones are multi spectral, that is to say, they jam all races with the same strength.
Racial jammers will have a strong jamming strength versus a single race, and weak against the others.
Magnetometric scanners are the Gallente ships scanner.

Magnometric Jammer – effective against Gallente
Ladar Jammer – effective against Minmatar
Radar Jammer – effective against Amarr
Gravimetric Jammer – effective against Caldari

The chance to jam a target with one ECM drone/jammer is illustrated by the following formula:

C = J/S * 100%

Where J is the jamming strength of your jammer, S the sensor strength of the target ship and C the jamming chance in %. The chance to jam a target with multiple jammers is a simple deduction of Bernoulli's formula:

C = (1-(1-J/S)^n)*100%

The Targeting Sensor Strength 7.5 is your drone's J. This is what is important.
The Miscellaneous Sensor Strength 1.5 is your drone's S. This is completely irrelevant unless someone tries to jam your ECM drone...which would be a very weird thing to do.
