Can someone advice me on which BS take for running L4 in caldari space?

I have 12M SP on gunnery, mostly hybrid.

Piloting a rokh currently, not sure it is what i should use

Dominix: = 120 mil roughly for 750-850 dps easily and can run any mission except for angel bonus room.

Only issue is that it needs tech 2 sentrys/rails....

You can effectively shield tank it and push for more DPS, but it'll cost you a lot more in most cases.

A Dominix can easily run Level 4 bonus room as well, with the right fit.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

I used a rokh for awhile, but I switched to a rail hyperion and all my wildest dreams came true.

Edit-- It's a bit light on tank so you have to be careful with aggro, and it doesn't get the face-melting close range damage of the rokh, but it doesn't have the range issues and still hits pretty hard inside 45k.

a rail rokh is a fine thing for gurista missions, as far as cheap gun platforms go. the only alternative that comes to mind is the tempest. the setup below will tank up to 650 dps and has similar overall damage output to a railgun rokh. the total investment is under 300mil, ~180 without the shield booster.

edit: if you have another ~80 mil, you can go for a similar build on the maelstrom. it will give you some extra tank and dps while still being far below 500mil.

I should buy an Ishtar.

FTFY
No range issues with the rokh, and with this against guristas is just a horribad idea, not just because at 70 km (usual am range for the rokh) you're doing less dps than a rokh. Guristas are long ranged. And fitting eccm would be nice too, so either a cap charger or a tracking comp have to go, hurting your range or tank even more.

EDIT
And from i can tell, the rokh is one of the more versatile bs mission ships out right now, able to fit legitimate rail and blaster fits, depending on rat type/mission.

you trade the damage projection for significantly better tracking, so unless ALL your targets are battleships that orbit at stupid ranges, the overall damage should be around the same.

I should buy an Ishtar.

You can't get much cheaper then this domi:

fit is somewhat pimped but it doesn't lose too much *oomph* with regular t2 fittings so you can pimp the fit as much as you prefer only thing you have to keep is the faction repper and t2 weapons.
900dps and tanks round 480 with this set up and is also cap stable if you don't reps / guns (especially if you drop drone dmg for ccc).

Dominix is sooo slow imo and hard to train for.

Raven and Drake is probably the cheapest.

Since the OP stated he's primarily a gunnery player, it would be hard for him, but many Gallente pilots put SP into drones early on which is why the Dominix is a favored L4 boat (aside from the fact you can fit it for AFK missioning).

OP, I would say go on the artillery based builds listed above since they have decent reach and you'll just use light and medium drones for whatever gets too close like frigates. Anything far how out enough should be vaporized by the artie volleys easily, especially frigates.
